This description is for our featured special unit #1007.

Unit #1007 is our popular tastefully remodeled 1 bedroom suite with a gorgeous ocean view furnished with a full sized sleeper sofa, 32' flat screen tv with cable, lanai chairs and coffee table and furnished with a king/convertible bed which can be converted into 2 twin beds with advance reservations. This unit offers a great kitchen with a 2 burner glasstop built in cooktop, refrigerator, large stainless steel under the counter microwave oven, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker and more all you would need to prepare your meals for your vacation with a deep full sized kitchen sink and granite counter tops. Our bathroom is off the hallway with an open vanity area, garden tub/shower and a separate commode enclosure. The bedroom is set in the back of the building for a peaceful sleep and we also offer central air conditioning with no rattling window air conditioners, laminated wood floors and tile.

Beaches on Oahu

Kailua Beach Park-

This is one of Oahu's most beautiful beaches with excellent swimming and wind surfing. The beach is nice, fine sand - perfect for sunbathing and recreational activities. This area is also a world-class wind surfing destination. Lessons and rental gear can be purchase nearby. Several offshore islands create a beautiful backdrop to this tropical destination.

Ko’olina Lagoons-

Located in the Ko'Olina Resort Area, these four man-made lagoons are perfect for swimming at any time of the year. Rock barriers provide protection from the ocean and high surf. The lagoons are sandy beaches surrounded by grass and shaded picnic areas. The lagoons are called: Kolola, Hanu, Nai'a, and Ulua.

Laniakea Beach Park-

This North Shore beach is located between Papailoa and Chun's Reef. The site is very popular with experienced surfers but is not very safe for swimming. Green sea turtles are often spotted here as they eat the algae growing on the rocks.


With it's calm, green water, large sandy beach, offshore island, and tall windswept trees, the area preserves the tropical beauty and serenity of ancient times. Beachcombing, swimming, body boarding, and snorkeling are popular activities along this North Shore haven. Green sea turtles are often seen along this coastline and Goat Island, just offshore, is a protected seabird sanctuary. A 37-acre, gated recreation area borders the beach and provides tent camping sites, rustic cabins and a large pavilion to rent. Advanced reservations must be made to use these facilities.

Pokai Bay Beach Park-

Hawaiiain for 'Night of the Supreme One', this beach is named after the legendary Hawaiian chief, Poka'i, who reportedly brought the first coconut palm tree to Hawaii. This West Shore beach area is well protected even during the winter months when other areas are experiencing high surf. As with all west coast beaches, it has a gently sloping coral reef making it great for swimming year round. The beach area is sandy with shady areas nearby.

Sunset Beach Park-

One of the longest sand beaches in Oahu running two miles in length and 200-300 feet wide. In the Summer when the ocean is calm, this beach has crystal clear water and beautiful white sand. The area is great for swimming and snorkeling. There is also wonderful tide pools great for collecting shells and observing the wonders of nature. During the Winter months this beach is one of the best for surfing with waves often between fifteen and twenty feet high making it perfect for yearly international surfing competitions.

Three Tables-

Located east of Waimea Bay and next to Sharks Cove, this beach is especially beautiful during the summer months when the ocean is calmer and the reef system can easily be explored. Scuba diving, snorkeling and wading in the numerous tidepools makes this a very crowded and popular area. Lava tubes, ledges, and sea arches can be found just outside of the reef area. A small sand beach marks the entrance to this unique recreation area.

Waimea Bay Beach Park-

During the summer months the water of this 'Reddish' bay is calm and great for swimming with a large sandy beach area. But watch out during the winter months when the waves can reach heights of thirty feet. This is the home of the largest, most dangerous and spectacular surf in the world.

We have lived on the island for years and live close to town so we would be able to avail ourselves if you need to make your stay more comfortable. I have worked in the hotel industry for years in different capacities. I was an executive housekeeper so I understand the standard of cleanliness. I am an artist. I have been a handyman and renovation contractor for the hotels for years. I renovate all of our own units.

We did a few years of research searching out a condominium that had an above average reputation, built well, great location close to the beach. We picked the right place! The management company is excellent, security guards are friendly and helpful and do a great job. The condo is a secured building, has a great swimming pool, laundry facility, parking, 2 blocks from the beach. We have above average compliments from our guests about the quality of our vacation condos, the surrounding staff, clean rooms and above service from our family business. This condominium is also set off the street so you do not get the street noise but a relaxing time and peaceful sleep. Please read our great reviews and hope you choose us for your vacation travels.

What makes this condo unique

You will enjoy the benefits of being at home away from home. You have all the conveniences of being at home however you are centrally located to many major attractions in Waikiki as well as shopping and restaurants.

Just a quick note to let you and Gary know that Aaron and I had a wonderful time (again) staying in one of your condos. Our vacation was wonderful--very relaxing and fun, and I got to see my family a lot this year, which is always nice. I wanted to leave a review of the condo, but couldn't find (okay, I'm lazy and didn't really search all that much) the link to the site that would let me do that. You always make me and Aaron feel so welcome and it's always nice to stay in a place that we know will be really nice, safe, and convenient! By the way, the view from unit # 1208 was great and I'm always surprised as to how quiet the building is, you can't really hear anything from the street or the neighboring units.

We stayed in the room on the 10th floor and absolutely loved it! The view is lovely and the location is wonderful. It is close to everything we needed but far enough from the main road that it wasn't too noisy. There were several delicious places to eat within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Cheeseburger in Paradise was our favorite place for breakfast and evening appetizers (best burgers ever!). For seafood we really ejnoyed Hula Grill and Duke's which were an easy walk past the nearby International Market. I would totally stay here again and highly recommend it! Thanks go out to Merry who was very helpful:)

Average condo, clean but not extravagant. Great central location in downtown.

Loved being central in Waikiki. Middle of everything and just set back from the beach a few blocks with a straight line view of some beach area and water, including sunsets.

TV cable channels did not provide much so it was not useful. Bed was very hard so not that comfortable. Did not know king size bed would be two mattresses together.

Enjoyed the balcony, easy access to place. All condo needs are there (kitchen, wine opener, iron, hair dryer) - this was nice. There was beach gear on the balcony we did not use but good to have available.

Overall, enjoyed the stay but sleeping on that bed was tough. Aaron & Linda

Just getting away

Overall the condo was good, stayed one week, only 3 blocks from beach, on the 10th floor. Room where clean. The kitchen was ill equipped, no knives for cooking as we ate mostly in the room, only two dinner plates and no wine glasses. The beds were very uncomfortable, quite hard, my friend and I did not get a good notes sleep, we both have hip problems. I believe we are living in the age of pillow top mattresses and for that price I would expect nothing else. The comforters looked very old and used??

Best Location for Kiwi Family

Aloha, We are a adult family of four on our third holiday to Ohau and our second stay in one of Gary's apartments. Already planning our return next year, and we know where we will be staying. Great apartments in the best location. Set back from the road so minimal road noise. Within 5 minutes walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. Great parking available for our rental car. Safe and secure anytime day or night. A big thank you to Merry who makes the whole experience of apartment rental so easy and enjoyable. Mahalo

Relaxing and Clean unit

Living in Osaka, Japan now, Every year when I return home to Hawaii, I stay at the Waikiki Park Heights. I was on the 10th floor with a view of the ocean. The unit was clean and ready to move in being its fully furnished. The condo is close to the beach, convenience stores, restaurants, and Kalakaua Ave. I was happy with the customer service of Merry and Gary.

I would definitely recommend this unit and building to anyone who wants to enjoy Waikiki.

By the way, parking is also available, depending on availability.

Wonderful Stay, As Usual

This is our 4th year in a row staying in one of Gary and Merry's condos in this building, and it didn't disappoint. We were on the 12th floor, which offered great views of Waikiki Beach. The condo itself is located near the Honolulu Zoo end of Kuhio Avenue. This might not seem like a great location, but it really is ideal as you are away from the zoo-like atmosphere that can be the middle of Waikiki. Besides, everything you would want is within a 5-10 minute walk of the building, including all of the shopping, restaurants, nightlife, etc. The condo was more than spacious enough one couple and it had pretty much everything you'd need for a stay of one day to two weeks. Towels galore! So many towels. Merry was extremely helpful and conscientious about answering any questions we had and was sure to check in with us if she wasn't able to greet us upon arrival. One thing to remember: Gary and Merry's condos are just that--privately owned condos. They are not hotel rooms, so there won't be any turn-down service or complementary laundry service. But that's all right! That's how they keep the prices so reasonable and the units so comfortable. There are laundry facilities in the building, some beach gear (i.e., mats, chairs, snorkeling masks, etc., depending on the unit), a refrigerator, kitchen utensils, a stove/hot plate, coffee maker, and various other small appliances. There is also a large, pretty, swimming pool that usually has no more than a few people ever in it. By the way, there is a small, casual eatery across the street from the condo in the pink building called Ruffage. It's a great place for sandwiches and bowls and they have great prices, too. Please, though, if you are a first time visitor to Hawaii, rent a car and get out of Waikiki! Oahu has so many great places to see and visit and it would be a shame if your only impression of the island is Waikiki, which is wonderful, but there are beaches on the other parts of the island that will take your breath away. And when you get back to the condo, you can have a nice shower and relax on the lanai while watching the sunset and city lights. If you're there on a Friday night, take a 15 minute walk down to the beach off of Fort Derussy and watch the fireworks display being set off from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. I whole heartedly recommend Gary and Merry's condos.

It is only 1.5 block (2 minutes) to the Waikiki beach and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops including Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the Duty-Free shopping center (DFS), New shopping center "Saks Fifth Avenue" is 5 minutes and the grocery store " Food Pantry" is only one 4 minutes walk away. A Bus stops is in front of the building that can take you to any destination, whether you want to hike Diamond Head, Snorkel at Hanauma Bay, explore North Shore, visit the historic Pearl Harbor or go clubbing on Hotel Street in Chinatown or do more shopping at Waikele Outlets or Beautiful Ala Moana Mall. The credit card use as security deposit is not charged on the card. So there is nothing to return. The card is run not as a sale but as an authorization to make a charge in the event a key is lost or the property is damaged.
