Vacation Rental Cabin, Keuka Lake Outlet-Trail, Wine Trail. Brand New in 2016

Brand New Vacation rental Cabin situated on a 5 acre parcel bordering the Keuka Lake Outlet and the Outlet Trail. The Outlet Trail is just over 6 miles long and runs from Keuka Lake (Penn Yan) to Seneca Lake (Dresden). The Cabin is fully insulated and features an electric fireplace, Air Conditioning, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and USB chargers for cell phones/electronics. Cabin has a queen size bed which sleeps 2, futon sleeps 1, Fire pit that can be used for campfires or cooking. Plenty of dry seasoned firewood on site for only $5 per bundle. There is a modern flush toilet and sink housed in a separate building on the property only 25ft from the Cabin. New Shower building April 2017. Perfect get a way. Enjoy the Outlet trail for walking/Biking, Enjoy fishing in the Outlet. Need more sleeping capacity ? Inquire ahead as we may be able to park our 2021 camper there for more sleeping capacity (2)(added fee) On site RV hookup available as well.

We had a great time at this cabin with our two large dogs! Early check in was a available and it’s conveniently located right off the keuka outlet trail. Firewood was available onsite which we enjoyed every night.

We would definitely stay here again! The town of Penn Yan is a close drive and has a great park and local activities during the summer. It is a 10 min drive to Keuka College which has free kayaks and paddle boards. Less than 5 min from the parking for Cascade and Seneca Mills falls. 20 min from Watkins Glen which has waterfalls a state park with swimming pools and a great park on the lake.

The cabin and property were exactly as described. The property itself was beautiful and very well maintained. The cabin was super cute. Once again, this cabin delivered a fantastic vacation!! The cabin and property are very well maintained and clean. The Keuka outlet trail is right at the edge of the property and you can hear the water flowing in the ravine below. We brought our bikes and rode the trail as planned. This is our third stay at the Vacation Rental Cabin. Since my husband and I know what to expect, the trip is much simpler for us now. We are campers normally. The weekend we chose to visit Penn Yan we did not want to deal with adverse weather, i.e., rain or heat. The cabin is equipped with heat and AC. Just our luck, the weekend we chose was one of the wettest for this Spring. We managed to coordinate the activities in the area that we wanted to attend, even with the rain. We enjoyed out stay.

We truly enjoyed the staying in the cabin and will definitely be booking again in the future . We have two rescue dogs and one has a lot of fear and anxiety so it's hard finding places to stay with her that's away from people . It was a pleasant surprise to find that the cabin is all by its self with no other cabins or people around. The trails are super close by and so is the town of Penn Yann . We brought our boat and plenty of room for it . The bathroom and shower isn't attached but very close to the cabin . We knew that ahead of time so it wasn't an issue. Maybe some more pavers connecting them to the cabin for a future project? Because it rained severely with lots of thunder and lighting so it was slippery walking across the grass. The cabin had everything you need for our stay . We ended up bringing our own hot plate and extension cord so we could cook outside on the porch as to not smell up the cabin for the people staying after us . The host has a shovel for people to clean up after their pets and we could see some people didn't take the advice and clean up . I went around picking up some poo so our dogs didn't get blamed . We really loved the area and stay and look forward to booking again .

It's a beautiful, well kept 5 acre parcel in a prime location bordering the Keuka Lake Outlet and the Outlet Trail. Two lakes (Keuka and Seneca) both within 4 miles. The Cabin is brand new (Spring 2016) New Shower building added April of 2017. We offer an incredible value for those traveling on a budget.

What makes this property unique

The property borders the Keuka Lake Outlet and the Outlet Trail which creates plenty of no cost, fun things to do for our guests. The Keuka Lake Outlet is the waterway that connects Keuka Lake to Seneca Lake. Guests can fish the Outlet or take a short drive to Keuka or Seneca Lake, both are less than 4 miles away. Quiet peaceful and private setting, close to nature. Guests can enjoy the beauty of the Outlet Trail which is 6+ mile walking/biking/horseback trail. The Cabin has a tiny house feel with most of the comforts of home. More than a dozen wineries within minutes of this location and the Windmill Farm and Craft Market which is open on Saturdays has been a big hit with our guests.
