2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6
A 2-bedroom condo on the quiet southern end of Fort Myers Beach, Santa Maria II 105 is ideal for anyone who loves living near the water. Not only does the condo overlook a canal that leads to Estero Bay, but it’s also just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and the Gulf of Mexico—and the complex has a pool that many consider to be the most gorgeous on the island. Santa Maria II 105 is lovely in and of itself—light, bright, and airy. In the living room, there’s space on the plush, plump couches for everyone to settle in and watch a movie on the 47” HDTV with cable, and the kids will love sprawling out on the carpet with their toys and games.
Sliding glass doors open from the living room onto the screened-in balcony, letting in sunshine and providing a view of the boats parading along the canal. The balcony is furnished with a dining table and chairs so that you can enjoy an alfresco meal as the salt-scented breeze rustles through the palm trees. Should you prefer to eat indoors, the dining table seats 6 people easily, and the chairs are so comfortable that you’ll want to linger over a cup of coffee or a game of Scrabble long after dinner is over. Whether you plan to channel your inner Julia Child or simply reheat takeaway pizza, you’ll appreciate the convenience of the fully equipped kitchen.
From appliances major and minor to cookware to tableware, the kitchen has it all. That includes enough storage space that you can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay, rather than have to keep running out to the market. Among Santa Maria II105’s other timesaving conveniences are a dishwasher, a washer, and a dryer; less time wasted on chores means more time to swim, sail, or laze in the sun! Or laze in bed, for that matter-—and once you sprawl out on the master bedroom’s king-size bed, you may never want to leave it! As well as a TV and a view of the canal, the master suite has a spacious bathroom with both a walk-in shower and a soaking tub. The 2nd bedroom has a private bathroom of its own, plus 2 twin beds and plenty of room for the kids to play.
And if you have additional guests, they can get comfortable on the living room sofa, which opens into a queen-size bed. The condo complex has plenty of amenities to help you make the most of the great outdoors. For starters, there’s a large heated pool, as well as a hot tub—just the thing to ease your tired muscles after a day spent canoeing, kayaking, hiking, or biking at nearby Lovers Key State Park. When you’re not swimming or soaking you can stretch out on one of the many poolside chaises. The complex also offers several outdoor dining areas, complete with gas grills for barbecuing snapper or trout you reeled in yourself... or steaks and hot dogs from the
supermarket. No matter the meal, it’ll taste even more delicious when enjoyed outside! After your meal—or any other time, really—you can stroll the impeccably maintained grounds around the canal.
A number of friendly manatees are said to make their home in the canal’s waters, so you just might see them frolicking among the boats—what a delight! As well as being along a canal, Santa Maria is next door to a marina, where you can rent all sorts of boats, from skiffs to powerboats, or book a fishing charter. It’s also less than a 5-minute walk to the beach and the gulf, where you can paddleboard or parasail, collect seashells or race jet skis. Other people have to load up the car with a day’s worth of gear to enjoy time at the beach; you’ll be able to saunter back and forth whenever you want. There’s so much more to see and savor when you stay at Santa Maria II 105—too much for us to be able to detail here. You’ll just have to experience it for yourself...so go ahead and book your stay today!

Very nice place
Only problem we had was oven didn’t work so we had a lot of food that went in the trash. But other then that we enjoyed the property
Condo was nice, wasn't in it very much. The two full days we were there we ran the whole day getting supplies for my condo renovation.
The suite was clean and big enough for a family of 5 to stay comfortably. Will definitely use homeaway for all my vacation needs. Easy to use website and fast replies. Thank you.
Nice place-but was not properly prepared/maintained for guests. Scanty on basic kitchen/bath items.
On 12/23 when we attempted to check in, we had to call to get the access code for the lobby. Only the room and pool codes were provided. When we called to report and ask other questions, the rep was a bit harsh and impatient. It was obvious that our concerns were falling on deaf ears. No beach towels or details as to how to access the beach were provided, but both were advertised and important to our decision to visit.
Worst of all was the heavy smell of sulphur and low water pressure when using the hot water. Evidentally the hot water had not been used and the odor when opening the taps was practically caustic. We were not able to use the hot water for showers/kitchen until the next day. Since it was Christmas Eve, we held no confidence that we would receive support by calling the office to report our concerns, considering our first encounter with less crucial issues was received with a lack of responsibility or understanding for our situation.
The unit is rather plainly decorated and could have had a better appointed kitchen. Silverware and dishes were generally found to be dirty and needed to be washed/scrubbed prior to use. Only one trash bag was supplied. We were able to work around these issues-but shouldn't have had to on our holiday vacation time. If the unit was properly maintained/prepared prior to our arrival-many if these items would not be mentioned.
IF NOTHING ELSE - MOST IMPORTANTLY-the unit needs to be better prepared for guests-especially if it has been vacant. The water needs to be attended to regularly!
I hope this has been constructive and will be valuable to getting better reviews in the future.
This has been our worst VRBO experience-and-unfortunately it happened over our Christmas weekend. To keep things in perspective-we refused to let it ruin our Christmas!
Great condo and pool. Easy access and secure. Good location.
The condo was in great condition and clean. Arrival was easy. The pool is very large and well maintained. There is a publix 5 mins away, and restaurants at "times square" 15 minutes away. There is beach access close by; however, not really within walking distance.
