Super clean property and lake
Wonderful property with everything you could need! Easy check in & out. Lake is small but clean and quiet. We kayaked, canoed, fished, and water skiied all week! Plenty of wood for campfires and great lawn space for yard games. Cabin has it all from great views to comfy beds. All the cooking supplies you will need and having our pets with was so great! They even have a hose for dog bathing with warm water!!! This is our 12th year of VRBO and Steve and sandy really know how to treat guests! They have thought of everything. Road there is difficult but worth it. Had a burger at Willy’s still- fun little bar. Would highly recommend this property!
Beautiful setting...a little out of the way but so worth it.
The long ride down the dirt roads to the property should not deter you from staying at Eagle Point! Once you're there, you won't want to leave. The cabin has everything you'll need, plus extras you may have forgotten. Fishing from the dock, swimming from a second dock, kayaks, canoe, row boat, fire pit, and the view for a great nature experience, or satellite dish, AC, and WIFI if can't survive without modern amenities.
Beautiful setting, great cabin!
We have stayed at this cabin twice, and we love it! We wish it was a little easier to get to (13 miles of dirt roads--with one bear sighting about 8 miles in!) but all that isolation means few neighbors and a quiet lake with no motor boats or jet skis. (It would be perfect if you could pick up the entire property and move it closer to the main road--but then there would be more noise & traffic...) The owners are friendly and helpful, and even provide emergency supplies if you forget something (if you go in June, bring a LOT of mosquito spray). Love this cabin, planning to stay there again soon!
Another fantastic stay! The cabin is incredibly well-stocked, even had an ACE bandage available for a sprained wrist. We hope to be back again next summer!
Beautiful Cabin But Difficult to Get to
We loved the Eagle Point Cabin. It’s clean, nicely furnished and quiet. The lake is tranquil with good fishing. My family and I really enjoyed the time there. But it must be mentioned that the gravel road to the cabin is long, tedious, and must be taken slowly. The last stretch which is narrow and deeply potholed is the worst stretch of road any of us had ever driven! We adapted by minimizing our trips to town. But the destination is certainly worth all of the time and effort to get there.
