Whether you're sitting on the covered patio enjoying breakfast or a sparkling sunrise, relaxing in the cozy living room enjoying the fireplace and the ocean views, or on the lovely west facing deck overlooking the ocean taking in the panoramic view of the Ocean or a gorgeous sunset, the Pacific Ocean is yours to enjoy every day with picture perfect views! No details were overlooked in the complete and total remodel of this elegant and contemporary designed 1,544 square foot , 2 bedroom/2.5 bathroom Townhouse with spectacular ocean views. The high quality complete remodel/rebuild by the Interior Designer of this Townhouse features all new electrical, plumbing, windows and doors, walls, ceilings, lighting, all new kitchen and bathrooms, raised ceilings, and all new stainless steel Bosch appliances in the kitchen, independently controlled and programmable air conditioning in each of the two bedrooms and in the living area on the second floor, and a laundry with washer and dryer. All of the furniture, linens, towels, mattresses, and furnishings throughout the Townhouse are also new. The property is fully supplied with a stock of all paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc.), laundry soap, hand soap, etc. In short ... everything is new, clean, contemporary in design, spacious, and very comfortable!

There is a large and open west facing deck that looks out over the Pacific Ocean with panoramic views, and a lovely east facing deck that overlooks lovely flower gardens and grounds. Our Solana Beach property also includes high speed WiFi Internet service, Cable TV on two high definition "4K" TVs located in the Living Room and Master Bedroom.

The Master Bedroom has a new and comfortable King Size bed, new furniture, and an all new and spacious Master Bathroom. The Second Bedroom has a new and comfortable Queen Size bed, furniture, and its own full and spacious bathroom.

This is a lovely and contemporarily remodeled vacation home in a beautiful location next to the Pacific Ocean in Solana Beach. With 160+ degree ocean views, this Townhouse is only a 2 minute stroll to some of the best beaches in San Diego County ... and southern California in general. Two reserved parking spaces for your cars are provided in the gated garage, along with a large separate locked storage cabinet to store all of your beach fun equipment. Only a short walk away from many good dining and shopping choices in Solana Beach, this is one of the best locations and properties in San Diego County !!

Air Conditioning: Very few properties on the Solana Beach 'Bluff' have air conditioning available. Our completely remodeled and contemporary designed Solana Beach property provides air conditioning in each of the two bedrooms, and on the second floor living area. Each of the bedrooms has its own independently programmable air conditioning, which allows you to control the room temperature, fan speeds, auto start and stop times, filters the air, and other features by remote control. In this way, you have the choice of either cooling the bedrooms by the natural air flow of the Ocean breezes (by far the way in which most guests prefer), or you can simply set the temperature that you like best and then enjoy a good night's sleep. Either way, you will enjoy your stay at our Solana Beach property overlooking the Ocean !

Our lovely Property located overlooking the Ocean is also within easy walking distance to "Cedros Ave", the Downtown Design District of Solana Beach. There are many 'one-of-a-kind' shops, boutiques and galleries, plus unique Home and Garden stores, that have made Cedros "the Avenue with Everything". Go surfing or hiking in the morning, walk to yoga, pilates, a salon or even a day spa in the afternoon and enjoy a great dinner and glass of wine at the 'Wild Note Cafe' in the evening, then catch a concert at the world famous 'Belly Up' music club next door. Catch the excitement of the near by Del Mar Racetrack. The Solana Beach train station is just short walk from the property, from which you can take a 20 minute train ride along the ocean straight into Downtown San Diego (from which it is also a less than 5 minute cab ride to the San Diego Airport!). You can also take the train to Orange County or Los Angeles ... with the many attractions there to entertain you! In short, Solana Beach has it all ... a vibrant, stylish and culturally rich urban coastal with a true California 'beach town' feeling !

Checking In and Out: On the day of your arrival, please note that the normal Check-In time is between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. On the day of your departure, the Check-Out time is oat or before 11:00 AM. Other arrangements can be made in advance and by appointment.

Bill is a great host. He met us personally for check-in, and gave us a tour of the condo and the grounds. We did a lot of cooking during our stay, and were very happy with how well the kitchen was appointed and stocked. Bed was very comfortable. The condo is large and very roomy. We enjoyed having the two decks—one for watching the sunset, and one for watching the sunrise.

Wonderful apt in a great location

The apt is clean, spacious and beautifully renovated with high end appliances, fixtures and hard wood floors. The pool, hot tub and tennis courts are right outside the door and the beach a quick walk down the stair case. The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located just a short drive from everything in SD. Great coffee, restaurants and shopping is also within walking distance.

Wonderful home away from home

Everything about this property met expectations. Bill was a great host and was easy to work with. Gorgeous views of the Pacific from the main floor. Please note this home sits back from the cliffs but has a good line of sight to the ocean. Easy access to beach, to town, to the freeway. Great food nearby. Would definately stay here agin in the future.

The great room is lovely, light filled, serene- feels like new. Bathrooms are great, too. Pool & tennis courts good. All very clean. Owner available and helpful. Reno was done in 2021, based on reviews, and the kitchen appliances now function poorly, which was a disappointment for me.

Great spot for us as a couple with several amenities onsite - swimming (heated pool) and tennis and staircase down to ocean for jogs. Property itself updated recently and spotless. As a work from home person, wifi was perfect and could use dining area with well light area. This is a sun drenched place and you have views of ocean and town/hills from upstairs! There are several steps:stairs and a small uphill to get from parking to the condo. So be aware for those with mobility limitations. Host was proactive and most welcoming. Checked in on us throughout and that makes all the difference on experience and feeling as a home away from home!

Clean - Convenient - Comfortable

We had the best stay at this Solana Beach condo. Not only was the owner Bill's communication excellent prior to our stay, but certainly on the day we arrived. The unit and complex have a lot of amenities, and Bill took some great time showing us around the property and the condo so we knew how to live comfortably for a week. The condo is immaculate, and when I say immaculate, everything is super clean and presents as brand new. You can tell that the place is kept well so that you feel like you are staying in a fresh/modern place. When it comes to amenities, the unit has it all. Every kitchen utensil, down to cleaning solution is provided and it made it so easy just to relax and enjoy the week. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful slice of the California coast

This was our first visit to Solana Beach and I hope it won't be our last. First and foremost, Bill is a wonderful host. The pre-arrival email is so nicely detailed that we didn't have any worries on our arrival day. Bill greeted us at the gate, walked us to the townhouse and showed us the entire place before taking us around the complex and showing us how to get to the pool, tennis court and beach. The grounds are beautiful with koi ponds lush vegetation and benches overlooking the bluff and the ocean. It really feels like a world away. The view of the ocean is spectacular from the deck and the interior of the townhouse couldn't be more comfortable and spacious. The pictures are fantastic but being there is better! With easy drives to all of the coastal towns, you can't beat this location. Our only problem was that we had to go home! Thank you, Bill, for providing such a wonderful place for celebrating my birthday.

A lovely beach getaway

Our family spent the New Year vacation at Bill and Marina's lovely home. It had wonderful amenities, including a heated pool, hottub and direct beach access. Bill was very accommodating and met us late in the night upon our arrival. The unit was clean and had all new appliances, bedding and a well-stocked kitchen. Our kids (9 and 12) loved the property and we all loved the restaurants within walking distance, as well as the Coaster access to get downtown. Bill even helped my husband arrange for a late birthday gift arrival in the mail! It was a perfect location for all of our various activities. The only negatives (although minor, since we were so busy) were: there was construction going on in the unit next to us, but the noise was only during the day; the clubhouse was being renovated and we could not have access to it or the pool table during certain hours. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Beautiful Contemporary Townhouse

My husband and I, along with another couple quickly changed plans after our original vacation to Anna Maria Island was canceled. Bill is a WONDERFUL HOST!! He met us to check in, show us the property and highlight areas of interest. The townhouse is completely renovated and lovely. Bill even brought extra washcloths and dish cloths as we were short! Both bedrooms are on the first floor, the master is huge and all beds very comfortable. The upstairs living room and kitchen is spacious and well appointed. The little patio is great for coffee in the morning. The deck is small but can accommodate for a beautiful sunset view. The beach is very clean and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We traveled around the area but also enjoyed the local farmers market as well as three local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and this specific property very much. The flora and fauna are beautiful. Our only concern was the complex is a little dated and many of the beach front homes are not maintained to the standard of Bill’s. We can’t say enough about what a 5 star host Bill was😎

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at Bill's unit in Solana Beach. The complex is well taken care of, with tennis courts, pools, hot tubs, koi ponds, waterfalls. It is located on the bluff and this unit was a 3 minute walk to the walkway along the bluff. At the end of the property there is a set of stairs to the beach. The unit itself was recently renovated and was in pristine condition. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the entry floor and the kitchen, dining area and living room are upstairs. There are two balconies - one overlooking the water (over the roofs of adjoining condos) and one towards the hills. I watched whales and boats from the balcony. Everything we needed was provided in the unit and it was very comfortable. We had a slight issue with the heater but it was fixed promptly. We could walk to downtown and we found fabulous restaurants within walking distance. We recommend Beach Grass cafe for breakfast! We will be back. Thank you Bill!

Truly amazing all around

William provided us with an amazing experience at his rental. He met us at the property and showed us around the complex and gave us the layout of the home. The house is beyond immaculate with top of the line appliances. There were plenty of amenities. It felt so relaxing and was truly a wonderful stay. The view was breathtaking! We enjoyed the sunsets every night. We walked down to the beach in the mornings to exercise. The parking is gated and super safe. We left our electric bikes in the garage locked together and never worried. The beds are super comfortable. The only drawback is…. There are many steps to get from garage to the condo and then there are steps to get to the main living area. This was not a problem at all for us as we are very active and considered it part of our workout (every step counts!). I only bring that up in case someone considers renting that cannot handle stairs. The grounds around the complex are so well maintained and a beautiful setting with a koi pond (and a turtle that likes to sun bathe). The employees were constantly working on the landscape and making sure everything looked perfect. There are two pools (heated) and hot tubs. We never used them but they were very clean. It was lit up so beautifully for the holidays! Very close to everything - stores, beach, freeway. We will most definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!!!

This place is beautiful! Bill (the host) is amazing. He met us at the property to hand us our keys and also helped us with our luggage, as there are about two flights of stairs in total to get to the property itself. My husband is mobility challenged, so this made it a bit of a challenge for us. Bill explained all of the amenities and shared some of his favorite restaurants nearby and then handed us the keys.Inside, the house is beautifully appointed with everything you would need. We made full use of the kitchen as we were there for a month. The view is spectacular! We enjoyed many sunset views from the ocean facing patio.The parking garage is down a relatively steep small hill, so again if you have mobility issues, this is something to consider. On my second day of our stay, I tore my meniscus, so I also was on crutches. My husband would pick me up at the top of the hill, as I already walked down the approx 2 flights of stairs to the driveway.On our last day, Bill again was there to help us with our luggage and we handed off our keys. I can’t say enough about how gracious of a host Bill is.To sum it up, this place is amazing! The grounds are beautifully maintained, the people around there were very friendly (many times offering to help us when we were taking out our garbage or recycling to the garage), the views can’t be beat, and everything you need for your stay is there!Keep in mind, if you have mobility issues, it may be harder for you.

What a great place to enjoy a beach vacation!

To say property is exactly as described is an understatement. The owner is such a gentleman and a gracious host. The property was so well stocked, and more, for us. Although this property is not the "front" row to the beach, in a lot of ways, you may prefer that, at least we start to feel that way, after one month's stay. Also, the workers there are doing such a great job--they make the whole community feel like one big fancy garden. IF you ever want to stay at Solana beach, you should definitely consider this property!
