Safe, inexpensive location

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

I really had high hopes for this location based on photos. However, the property needs some maintenance. When we arrived (late in the evening on check-in day), the floors, kitchen counter, and sink were covered in sand. The linens that were stated to be provided were not (no linens for pull out sofa. I did accurately represent our party size at the time of booking.) The refrigerator freezer wasn’t working correctly (it appeared to have frozen up and then thawed.) Over the course of the week, the freezer/fridge needed service because it stopped working entirely. And, the A/C unit also stopped working. The property management company was VERY quick to respond and brought coolers to save all our groceries, linens so our kids could sleep, and had someone come and fix the fridge and A/C very timely. But, these are a lot of problems to occur in a one week stay. Definitely didn’t shed the best light on the owners. And, while the property management company responded quickly, I do feel they need better quality control of the cleaning and linens.
