I am originally from Chicago but have lived in the Arcadia - Scottsdale area since college. We enjoy an active lifestyle of travelling, hiking, biking, and snowshoeing the trails behind the cabin as well as snow boarding and cross country skiing at the nearby ski resort. Most of our free time over the last couple of years has been taken up on our renovation of the a-frame using sustainable building practices. Materials were zero VOC plant based non toxic coatings that we manufacture and salvaged locally sourced Ponderosa Pine, recycled doors, windows, furniture, and fixtures. All three of us (including the dog) have allergies so we try to keep the cabin as dust and allergen free as possible. It's rewarding to help bring families and friends together from all over the world to enjoy the wonders of Flagstaff and to share the living experience in our cabin. A portion of your homestay fee helps support Flagstaff Family Food Center, Food Bank and Kitchen.
Mahesh purchased this Cabin in 2011
Why Mahesh chose Flagstaff
The property is a great mix of a peaceful rural area with great vistas but 10 minutes from the excitement of a vibrant mountain town and is one of the highest in the country at 7,000 feet in elevation. The summers are warm but not hot like the central Arizona desert. Be prepared for warm summer days (average high is 78 degrees) and chilly nights (average low is 42 degrees)
What makes this Cabin unique
A very quiet secluded country setting with great views of the mountains and in the midst of the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forest.

The cabin was easier to find than I was thinking it would be. It's just outside the city but you really feel like you're out in nature. Everything was clean and easy to find and use. We enjoyed watching the sunset and stars at night, and the sauna worked great! Wish we could have stayed longer!
We had a very enjoyable stay. The views from the cabin were beautiful. We enjoyed the walking trails in the woods and the peace and quiet surrounding the property.
Wonderful experience at Tiny Mountain view cabin!
We had an absolute wonderful stay at the cabin. It was just the right amount of space and it was stocked with everything we needed! The weekend get away was just what we needed! We are recommending to our friends and family. Thank you Mesh, Mona and Daisy for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin!
Tiny cabin is tiny and cozy
We stayed in the summer. Note: there is no AC but this is typically not a problem in Flagstaff. Loved being adjacent to the national forest.
Amazing stay. One night in this beautiful cozy cabin! Our only recommendation would be to leave instruction about the ladder to access the Forrest behind the cabin. We didn’t see it until the morning of departure as we were leaving the property. Would definitely stay again!
Stunning property and perfect little cabin that has everything you need!
