*Spacious 1 BDR for 1 or 2 guests. 2nd Bdrm. will be made accessible for more than 2 paid guests in the reservation. Main BDRM has queen bed. 2nd Bedroom has a twin bed, and a convertible Sofa Chair single bed.
A fully EQUIPPED kitchen, dishes ,pots & pans etc. Rural setting in the Heart of Vermont. Privacy, nature, amazing views.
*Hollywood author, Per Hampton, of the trilogy, SUNSET & VINE, ( Loose Lips.).( Force of Destiny). uses Hidden House as a writers retreat. Lounge on the sofa or weather permitting, outside on your private porch Or the porch off the main house.
*68 miles south of ( BTV) Burlington Int'l. Airport. 1/2 hour north of LEB ( Lebanon , New Hampshire ) regional airport.
*10 minutes from Randolph, Vt Amtrak Train station.
*V.A.S.T. trails run by the foot of property.

Well above expectations

Unexpected power failure occurred prior to our arrival. The owner notified us and offered a refund. Power did return and we arrived to find a beautifully laid out apartment with lots of light. Very clean. Nice extra touches. Very comfortable bed. A winner all around.

Clean, homey, isolated house with excellent owner

We were most impressed with the owner, who was very sweet, kind and attentive. The rented space has one floor, with two separate bedrooms (each with a queen bed), one bedroom that is also part of the hallway with two twin beds, one living/dining room with a queen sofa bed, one full bath with a shower/tub and one half bathroom (no shower/tub). Although it can sleep up to 8 people, I would say that it is most comfortable for 6 or fewer. The house is clean and well kept. We didn't use the outdoor space because of the snow, but it seemed to be very serene and isolated. The kitchen has necessary cooking ware as well as a gas stove, a toaster, an oven, a kettle, a dishwasher, and a microwave, with a selection of tea and coffee. The living room has board games and a small portable DVD player, but not a large TV. There is wifi but limited-to-no cell phone reception. It was a great place for retreating and spending time with nature. An easy drive to Killington.

Quiet and hidden gem!!

Renting this lovely home was so easy and it was the perfect home for our VT visit. Quiet and away from town, our family enjoyed a perfect long Vermont weekend visiting our daughter during Parents Weekend at a local university. This is a gem of a property with beautiful views and an attentive but never intrusive host. She was delightful to meet and helpful if we needed anything!

Perfect Place to Stay to See Vermont

If there were an option to give Hidden House more than five stars we absolutely would. Hidden House is a beautiful rental operated by a wonderful person. Our hostess was the friendliest and most accommodating we've ever had in our many VRBO rentals, and the rental itself was perfect for our visit to Vermont and the Green Mountain National Forest. The property is gorgeous, even if all we had done in Vermont is sit on the porch and watch the changing sunlight on the mountains it would have been well worth the trip. We wish we could have stayed much longer and hope we can visit Hidden House again in the future.
