⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We absolutely loved our stay in this Manteo home! The house is incredibly spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms—perfect for giving everyone their own comfort and privacy. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The dock was a dream for enjoying the water, morning coffee, and beautiful sunsets. It truly had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We’re already planning to come back next year and stay even longer!

Family vacay

Stayed with grown kids and grands for a long weekend. Loved the house and location. Beautiful home and lots of room for our gang Bike riding, pool and beach were all we needed. House was as described and the most beautiful back deck views.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Enjoyed Thanksgiving at Pirates Cove with the family. The house was perfect for 9 people and had all of the necessary dishes to cook a Thanksgiving feast. Great fun had by all. Thank you.

Great location, beautiful house

This house was perfect for our visit to the Outer Banks. The house was in a quiet community with beautiful marshy views and amazing sunsets. But still close enough to great seafood restaurants, wildlife refuges, beach adventures and all that Outer Banks has to offer. The house was beautiful with enough room for us to all have our own space, but still enjoy time with each other.

Rented for Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament

My crew and I rented this house to stay in during the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament. Very nice spacious house, comfortable bedrooms, nice kitchen/socializing area, and fun pool table in the basement. Just a short golf cart ride to the marina. I recommend this house.

Lovely

Everything was lovely, location, ease of check in and out, great views! I would highly recommend starting the process of changing out the mattresses. Every person in our group struggled a bit with the uncomfortableness of the beds. Other than that, it is an absolutely beautiful place! Would recommend.

A great home in a quiet neighborhood!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for our guests. Reading reviews will help in knowing what items are not stocked for you (I.e. toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, etc) so make sure you have those upon arrival. The fully stocked kitchen, however, was perfect for cooking large breakfasts and dinners! The porch and canal in the back are very peaceful and the neighbors were super quiet. Our guest contact was attentive and responsive to texts and did his best to address our concerns timely. I’m confident our communication with him will make future stays even better for others.

Broken A/C

Unfortunately the A/C was broken for the duration of our stay there. We were contacted by the owner the day of our check in that the A/C for 2 of the 3 floors was inoperable and that it would be fixed the next day. This remained to be the story each day with the A/C never getting repaired during our stay. We were traveling with a 94 year old grandma that fell ill during the stay since temperatures exceeded 80 degrees on the two floors during the night. This was especially unfortunate as many of us were traveling from far for my wedding in the outer banks and weren’t able to get good rest during our time there.

Look no further. . .

The only reason I'm giving this location 5 stars is because 6 stars was not available. Whatever could be said positively about the location, the property, the neighborhood, and the owner wouldn't do any of it justice. This stay was a stellar value for the amenities at hand, between riding bikes, kayaking along the marshy channels in the sound watching the river otters dance, a 5 minute drive to the Atlantic Ocean, or even the excellent staff at Pirates Cove, this place is an A+ venue.

Unbelievable Quiet Location With Stunning Sunsets

House was very spacious and the master bed room and suite was awesome. The sunsets on the back deck overlooking the water was beyond anything we could have expected. So many great photos and memories. More than enough room for the nine guests we had with us.

Dated but GREAT

This property was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with gorgeous views. The house itself had a great layout for our party and ample space. However, the bathrooms and kitchen were very dated. It was clean but not pristine (dusty baseboards, scuffs on walls). The listing is correct in saying NO cleaning or toilet supplies provided past your first roll of tp. Both house manager and homeowner were super responsive and attentive.
