Great week in North Myrtle Beach, made possible by our cottage. Everything was as described and the location was perfect; two blocks from the beach. Perfect place for a small group get-away.

Our Forever Vacation Spot

Just a lovely family place. It’s a quick walk to the beach and I don’t feel as touristy. Nice set up for a family and a quiet community with a short drive to most things you may need. Wonderful pool and friendly neighborhood overall.

Perfect for a weekend get away with furry friends!

The turtle cottage was perfect for our weekend get away! This was in a great area within walking distance of the beach and located right above the pool. We were so happy to find a place that was pet friendly and clean!! If you are looking for a clean pet friendly place close to the beach this is the place for you!

Perfect pet friendly stay!

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Turtle Cottage. It was beautifully decorated. It was well equipped with both a regular coffee maker and Keurig! The location was awesome. Less than a five min walk to the beach. Just a few minutes drive to restaurants, golf, shopping and an off leash dog park! The cottage was so clean. The neighborhood was quiet. It's right across from a lovely pool. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay! We will definitely stay here again!

Hi Tina, we want our guests to relax when they stay with us, and we apologize if you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - While we cannot guarantee the availability of community amenities, we do understand that these amenities play a large role when guests book a property. We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors are simply out of our control. - The HOA that manages this community, does perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of the pools before the summer season. - Two other pools in the community were open for you to enjoy considering they do not perform maintenance on all of the pools at the same time.- We do recommend that guests verify if all community amenities will be available at the time of booking. We hope you keep us in mind for your future travels. We’d love to host you the next time you visit!

We have been visiting Myrtle Beach for 15 years. We have family in town, but choose to rent our own place near the beach so the pier and surf fishing are handy.We found this cottage to be perfect for our needs!Clean. Well-equipped. Washer & Dryer. Our youngest of the family- goldendoodle, allowed. Best of all, the living room and dining area are combined, and are sizeable-we enjoyed serving our friends and family in our little beach cottage!

Hurricane relief

Evacuated to Myrtle Beach from hurricane Helene as we had no power or water at home. Had to ask a family member to book a place as I didn’t have cell service either. Was surprised to find the floors to be dirty and a previous guest’s bathroom kit left in the bathroom. Overall it served the purpose but not a 4* place.

Fantastic location. Easy to get to. Great parking. Wonderful cottage. Walking distance to beach 🏖️. Dog friendly. Great amenities. Friendly and helpful host. Location is by everything. Quiet and friendly area and neighborhood. Removed one star ⭐ because the cleaning crew used an extraordinary amount of febreze on everything, including the beds and pillows. If you have allergies or asthma, be warned. I had to re-wash the sheets and still suffered because the chemicals absorbed into the pillows themselves so bring your own.

We apologize, for the strong smell, when you arrived, but our cleaners just left when you came in since we granted your request for an early check-in. Exceeded Expectations

We arrived a little early so the place wasn’t quite ready but they were super kind and nice about it. They texted us as soon as it was ready. It had a washer and dryer for laundry. The also had ride pods for the laundry. The kitchen was equipped with just about every utensil you need. The parking was a little difficult since the cottages are all so close to each other. TIP: backing up into the parking space is a lot easier. The place is extremely close to the beach, about a 3 minute walk. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I definitely recommend this one!!!

Do not rent from Evolve

The house was nice enough and if it were actually rented like a normal VRBO it would be 4-5 star. Unfortunately, this property is managed by a company called Evolve. This company refuses to use any of the normal VRBO rental services one counts on and pays for with the VRBO fee like payments and communication. Evolve forces you to go outside of VRBO to pay and that system resulted in my credit card flagging the charge as fraud. Communication was also a nightmare. They outright refuse to respond through VRBO messaging, only copy and pasting a message to go to their site. When I did that, it literally took them months to reply. Evolve relies on a local contact when at the property, but that contact never responded to emails either. We were lucky we had no big issues with the rental. Do not rent any property managed by Evolve or you might not be so lucky.

When you book through a partner site such as VRBO you deal with them for all of your needs such as billing and payments and communication. This owner has a history of 5-star reviews and has had very many guests who have appreciated their stays and enjoyed their time at this property. Excellent Location

We felt at home quickly, a comfortable, pretty place to stay. Very clean and very well stocked with items you might need. The small porch attached to the front was a bonus to drink morning coffee. Across the street from the beach makes it even better. I would definitely stay again.
