The consider staying at the Mayneview. Let us do all the hard work!! Starting Thanksgiving, we are decorated for holidays every year. In fact, we have had guests say it feels like a Christmas shop! Our main tree is in the parlor but we have several other trees throughout the property to enhance the holiday spirit! We will have it all set up for you to bring your gifts and set them under the tree and enjoy the holidays without all the fuss and muss. Take a look at some of our holiday pictures!

Comfortably situated close to everything Luray and Page county have to offer, in town, but a quiet and restful location. A few blocks from downtown restaurants and shops, yet a mile from Luray Caverns (in fact, one of the co-discovers of the caverns built the Mayneview as a hunting lodge and there used to be a back entrance to the caverns on the property.), a couple miles from the National Park, Lake Arrowhead and the Shenandoah river.

Since we do operate this property as a traditional bed and Breakfast in addition to private whole rentals, the Mayneview is not appropriate for younger children. It is perfect for a family visit to Luray, a large family gathering, a reunion of old friends, a club retreat or a small wedding party that includes children 14 and older!
