Settle in for a weekend getaway or longer at Shenandoah Drive. Twelve minutes from Downtown Luray Virginia and the famed Luray Caverns, twenty minutes from the Thornton Gap Entrance to The Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park. Our recently renovated riverfront house offers accommodations for 9 with a game room for the rainy days, Wi-Fi, canoes, two fire pits, and more

This rental is great! It was perfect for our family of 7. The river is right in the backyard and the wildlife we got to see was amazing. Fishing was good also. It has great river access and the kids and I had a blast swimming. I would recommend this to anyone for a nice family getaway with everything you need.

Great property, very peaceful at the end of the road with the river in your backyard. It rained a lot of our 2 night stay so we enjoyed the covered front porch and pool table. We saw birds, rabbits, groundhogs, and deer. Kitchen is well-equipped. Comfortable for our group of 8. I will say the beds were all around not comfortable (eg double bed was so bouncy and squeaky 2 people shifting around kept waking each other up) and are in need of updating.

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our weekend on the river, was peaceful and quiet. The house is nice and clean, me and the boys really enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the river, we caught a lot of fish, so that was awesome!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is clean and comfortable. Sons and grandsons caught a lot of fish. And it's convenient to town in case you forgot something. We'll be back.

Peaceful river getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is clean and was set up perfectly for us. The river is close and it was fun watching the deer. Overall a peaceful, relaxing vacation for our family. Derek was excellent with communication too.

Perfect!

Great house, great hosts, great location. Had everything we needed and then some. Plenty of wood for fire pit. Kayaks were great and we had a nice easy float to a pull out about 3 miles down the river. Would not hesitate to rent again.

Wow. Beautiful riverbank location, amazing game room, surprisingly well-stocked kitchen with great appliances plus grill, and just the right size for our group of triathlon participants. Derek was extremely communicative and helpful. What a find!

Long weekend getaway before school starts

One of my favorite stays!! Owner is attentive and quick to respond. Property was just what we needed. Secluded but under 15 min to Walmart, Luray Caverns, hiking and dining options. Steps to the river. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck with the deer!
