Welcome to the Hacienda Abreeze. The bucolic setting of Abreeze sits on 3 ½ of the most spectacular hilltop acres you can find in all of Vieques. Boasting panoramic views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean Oceans, Abreeze is sure to appeal for its intimate privacy and spectacular vistas.

Abreeze is comprised of 3 private units: A studio apartment, a 1BR apartment and a 2BR apartment. This presents renters with a flexible array of accommodation options. Either rent whichever unit suits your needs, or bring a crowd and enjoy the entire Abreeze compound for your holiday.

Each unit is completely private from the others and has their own kitchen and bathroom (1 ½ bathrooms in the 2BR unit), and deck. The 2BR apartment serves as a natural gathering place for large parties who choose to rent the whole house.

The 36’ pool with gazebo and extensive deck is shared among all units. It has it’s own wet bar area, outdoor shower, charcoal grill and is ideally set overlooking the Caribbean Ocean and Bioluminescent Bay.

Located in “Barrio Destino”, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Vieques, Abreeze sits on the very top of the hill, located idyllically to take in the unique panorama with hypnotic views of Vieques Island, mainland Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Sea.The property is surrounded by rolling meadows and old trees. Given its unique hilltop location, the gentle trade winds make Abreeze a very comfortable (and minimally buggy) place to stay year round.

This unique island location is close to it all, with the best part being that it is only minutes from the main entrance to the National Wildlife Refuge area, providing access to some of the most beautiful, peaceful and pristine beaches in the Caribbean and the World.

There is plenty of parking and guests have full access to the grounds. A rental car is the best way to experience Vieques.

FLAMBOYAN SUITE - 2 BEDROOM/1.5 BATHROOM
Flamboyan is a very large 2 BR apartment. It features 1.5 baths, 2 large bedrooms, and full kitchen and spacious living area.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom (perfect for kids) has 2 twin beds and a bunkbed.

HIBISCUS SUITE - 1 BEDROOM/1 BATHROOM
Hibiscus is reached by a stairway of “plantation brick” and is a very spacious one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with large kitchen and great room. The terrace offers panoramic views to the Caribbean and Atlantic.

The 1 BR unit has 2 queen sized beds in the bedroom.

BROMELIA SUITE – STUDIO/1 BATHROOM
Bromelia is a very large studio apartment with views to Puerto Rico in one direction, and to St. Croix in another. It has it’s own kitchen and private bathroom.

The Studio unit has 1 king sized bed and a sofa bed.

The Tropical Gardens include many varieties of plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, including: many orchid varieties naturalized to trees, four varieties of heliconias, red ginger, bromeliads, birds of paradise, bougainvillea, ferns, cycads, blooming vines, scented Jasmin and frangipani, Ixora, mangoes, limones, avocado, papaya, hibiscus, and many different varieties of palm trees.

A NOTE ON GETTING TO VIEQUES AND CAR RENTALS

Vieques is an island off the southeast coast of mainland PR. You must either take a ferry or a flight to get to Vieques.

Cars can be in short supply on Vieques, especially during busy times. We recommend you book your car right away.

We will not provide refunds outside of our refund policy if you are unable to get to Vieques from the mainland or secure a car rental.

A NOTE ON WATER PRESSURE

Abreeze is high up in a hilltop and as such water pressure can sometimes drop. We have no control over it. Typically the water pressure will drop temporarily and come back quickly, but intermittent outages are to be expected.
