About this property

Newly Renovated in the spring of 2019! Look no further for a truly authentic mountain retreat with all the upgraded comforts of home. The long and short-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains including Grandfather are spectacular and visible from all rooms. Located on a private street with 40 acres and adjacent to trails for hiking and riding. Eagles nest was constructed of century old reclaimed wood from an old tobacco barn. The kitchen is the perfect blend of old and new with the wormy chestnut cabinets mixed with granite counters, top of the line stainless steel appliances and graphite sink. The main floor has reclaimed wood floors, stone wood burning fireplace, 50” smart HDTV and powder room. The master bedroom and bath on the first floor is great for privacy and opens onto the deck and hot tub. It also features a new 42” smart HDTV. The master bath features an antique claw foot tub/Shower with antique galvanized fixtures. The lower level has two large bedrooms; one with a queen bed and attached full bath, the other has 2 queen beds and full-attached bath. A large family room with 47” plasma TV completes this level. The entire house has been newly refurbished with custom log and reclaimed wood furniture in the bedrooms, new linens and all new kitchen accessories.

Beautiful Cabin

Immaculate cabin, very clean and nicely decorated. The views and hot tub were my favorite. Very well insulated and never felt any temperature extremes in the home. All the beds were very comfortable as well which was a pleasant surprise. You definitely need a car with all wheel drive and the drive up the mountain is not for the faint of heart. Plan your trip so that you are not driving in the dark and be prepared for no cell service on the mountain (but excellent WiFi in the cabin itself).

Majestic views!

Our stay was so perfect! Everyone was so friendly and helpful everywhere we went and we just loved the live music and restaurant! Our next stay will have to be longer so we have time to check out everything! The Eagles Neat was beautiful inside and out. Great care has been take with this property and it shows! The views are breath taking and the sunken hot tub was so relaxing! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!
