Bear Cub cabin is located in the beautiful Leatherwood Mountains resort community, only 30 minutes from Boone. This cabin is perfect for a romantic get-a-way or a family vacation. The wrap around deck puts you right in the middle of nature with no civilization in sight! Stone fireplace for that perfect romantic dinner or enjoy the 42' flat screen TV for a movie night. YouTube TV is the service for standard channels.

With the tons of amenities offered in the resort (pool, tennis, hiking, horseback riding, fishing & much more) to the nearby High Country activities, this will be your ultimate vacation. Expect to make this an annual retreat! Community offers equine facilities with full service boarding accommodations for your horseback riding trip. Horse rentals and guided tours available! Fantastic views with lots of seating options outside to relax and enjoy. The outdoor swinging bed was nice for afternoon naps. The deck was convenient for keeping dogs outside.We made several meals on the grill, and the kitchen was well stocked.Getting back up the driveway was a bit fun, just make sure to maintain decent speed going up it or you'll spin out.

Excellent communication from host and perfect cabin in the mountains for the ultimate peaceful, quiet getaway from the noise of the world! Aptly named as well, we encountered a black bear cub on our hike with the dogs. The decks here are perfect to truly enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding you.

Alyson is such a great host! My wife and I have stayed at this cabin in the past, but gifted a stay to our friends. Like is, they too had an amazing time at the cabin. Our stay was amazing! Beautiful views from this cozy home nestled right in the side of the mountain. We spent the days hiking and the evening recovering in the hot tub. The little restaurant at the entrance was very good and convenient and the staff were great! Would love to come back with our pups!

It was a very nice location and very quiet and private. The driveway in and out is a little scary. The highlight of the property is the outdoor gazebo area with a swinging bed and hot tub. But if I’m being honest, it’s just a little expensive for what it is.

My girlfriend and I stayed the weekend here. The views were amazing along with the amenities. The living room has since been updated so it’s a little different than the listing but not by much! Everything about the cabin was so cozy and relaxing! Definitely recommend staying here!
