Great Stay in Emerald Isle, NC

Excellent location and clean unit as well as property. Didn't use pool area due to being in October but looked nice and welcoming. Host was great to work with and communicate as well. We'd stay again.

A+ location-quick walk to ocean & steps away from pool (when reopens ). Great layout of condo.

3-day rain wasn’t pretty but condo was. Kitchen well equipped, living area is pretty & comfy, master bedroom is beautiful, & 2nd bedroom well thought out with entertainment option for kids. Loved the deck for coffee in am & beverages at days end.

Enjoyed our time at the beach!

The property had some issues- carpet was old and stained. Furniture was worn and appliances needed work. Overall was a nice environment and we enjoyed our time at the beach.

Great place, very clean, welcoming. kitchen well supplied with cooking equipment , from cups,plates,pots n pans, utensils, mixer, coffee maker-its all there,just like your home kitchen. Beach is steps away as well as the pool, which is kept clean too. owners are very accommodating and quick to reply if you have any questions/concerns. our stay is always great, no worries here

Fun at Emerald Isle

A lovely 2 bedroom w/ 2 en suite full bathrooms. Fully stocked kitchen and linens included with a week long stay. Full size washer and dryer in condo. 2 minute walk to beach and 100 steps to a pool. Point Emerald Villas is a gated community that is well maintained . We look forward to returning for another vaca!!

This condo was perfect for our little family beach trip. Dedicated beach access and two pools made for one happy 4-year-old! Conveniently located to restaurants, attractions, groceries, etc but also just far enough away for some peace and quiet. Michael was excellent along the way, answering any questions promptly and he was incredibly accommodating. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful experience

The property was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The location was wonderful and just a few steps to the beach. Grounds are very well maintained with pool, tennis court, nice boardwalks to the beach and showers by the beach to rinse off the sand. Quiet and safe community. But the best of all was the owner’s communication and care throughout our stay. Made us feel like friends and family.

Perfect Week Away

We had a great stay ! The condo was super clean, well stocked kitchen, a pool right beside the condo, quiet , family friendly environment. The beach was just a short walk away. Emerald Isle had my heart and this place was perfect.

Christmas at Emerald Isle

Michael was a delight to work with! He provided me with the information necessary and followed up to make sure that our stay was a great one. Never know what the kitchen holds, but this one had everything we needed! It was awesome to have a washer and dryer in the condo. The beach was a short walk, with great access. Loved having a condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, not to mention a as balcony! There were a few steps, but we were on the first floor. If you like bicycle riding this is an awesome place, with a nice path all along the city. Also some great coffee shops, we visited three- each one uniquely different. The beach was beautiful and it felt like we had it to ourselves. Would definitely stay here again.

Not the place for anyone with pet allergies orexpect not having to clean before settling in.

What’s not to like? It’s the beach, right? WRONG. If someone in your party has pet allergies, grosses out over hair in the shower drain, toothpaste on the sink, a full and smelly vacuum, and you don’t expect to have to clean before you can relax - this isn’t the place for you. In fairness, the owner did respond in a timely manner to our concerns, got his cleaning person to go back out to clean(?) and sent cookies in apology the next day. ‘Nice folks without high expectations for cleanliness. One of our children has a pet allergy and come to find out - the owners have a pet. The couches had fur on them as well as under the cushions. The place was advertised as NO PETS ALLOWED so I didn’t think that it meant “guests cannot have pets, but we do” In an effort to recover our cleaning fee (since we had to vacuum, sweep, clean out the hair in the drain, launder the bed coverings...) I felt confident that the $ charged for a cleaning fee would be credited back to us; We definitely left the place far cleaner than we found it. NOT SO! Do yourself a favor and keep looking - or deal with the dog fur & cleanliness issue. Other than having to clean up after whoever stayed there before us (it was the owner!) like a scullery maid, the beach was beautiful. Safe travels!

The perfect getaway.

After a long year, all we wanted is a vacation, we are not comfortable to fly yet, so we drove, Michael and his wife did so much for us, they even gave us the room an hour earlier than the check in schedule, the house is very clean, and well put together, everything you need is there, the location was perfect, but in top of all very safe, we loved it. We can’t wait to come back, and to tell all our family and friends about this gem.

Beach get away

Wasn't impressed with the fact I had to make my own bed before I could sleep in it. I'm 66 and trying to make bunk beds up for my grandkids was almost impossible for me. The tub would not stop up for a bath in the family bathroom. The shower didn't work in there as well. We could not get any of the TV's to work. Instructions were not clear. The only thing I really enjoyed was the beach. I will never go back there again.

Easy & comfortable beachside stay

The property was exactly what we expected. We were in town for a wedding at the Watson House and this location was perfect for getting on the beach and walking to the house for wedding festivities.
