Chiquita Sun House

We recently stayed here for my daughter’s 4th birthday as we had family flying in from out of state and we all wanted to spend the time together. There were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 kids, and a dog) and the house never felt cramped. Plenty of space, clean, close to the beach, and close proximity to explore downtown St Augustine, we got lots of pool time in. The pool guy came out and cleaned the pool during our stay. They were very prompt at responding to questions. It’s very safe for small children as they have the pool area very well safe guarded with gate access only. Plenty of parking, quiet neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay here and’s my daughter had the best birthday ever spending it with her family. We would definitely book again. Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts and allowing us to stay in your little slice of heaven.

Communication was a little off. I tried getting an early check-in and they said they normally don’t do that but she would check into it never did get back with me and we had a problem with the garbage. Which there was four garbage cans there that were filled to the roof so we had no place to put trash for two days. They said they were coming to clear it out. We had to keep the garbage inside the house because there was no place to put it very dissatisfied with that then of course there was a water break on Sunday afternoon that was an inconvenience as well kind of lack of communication on their part and disappointed for the money we spent to stay there for three nights check-in time is 4 o’clock checkout time is 10 o’clock kinda late and kinda early check out, which doesn’t make sense when you’re paying for three days of stay at those prices so probably look elsewhere next time

Our group of six 60 year old buddies had a great time. The house set up was perfect for our needs. The property management team dealt quickly and effectively on a bathroom issue that arose. The property was close enough to St Augustine and Butler Beach that we made multiple trips to both during our stay. We'd stay again if we get back to St Augustine. Thx

Spring Break with the kids

We are having a great time; so close to Butler Beach, stores, and easy access to St. Augustine. Plenty of room for our group on 9 to sit around the table inside, outside around heated pool, and on back porch. The four kids are really enjoying the heated pool, and we are glad to see them have a great time with their cousins that they seldom see. My kids are old enough to do the cooking and take care of things, so I can just enjoy having them together. Thanks for this time with the kids and their little ones. My youngest daughter is 12 weeks pregnant, and they are looking forward to having their own little one.

We had a great stay overall! The house was perfect for our group of 9 girls and had plenty of space for everyone. We truly had an amazing time.The only issue we experienced was when a breaker tripped one day, which caused the WiFi to go out. There was also a loud, constant beep/alarm noise coming from downstairs (related to the breaker), which made it difficult for those sleeping downstairs to get any rest. I did reach out using the provided contact number and was told it would be handled urgently, but unfortunately it wasn’t resolved until the next day around lunchtime.Aside from that inconvenience, everything else about the stay was great.

Good location

We stayed at the Chiquita Sun House for 10 nights. The location was excellent…quick drive right onto the beach and less than 15 minutes into historic St Augustine. The house is spacious and we all appreciated being able to spread out and have our own space. The kids loved all the balconies and nooks and crannies in the house and enjoyed playing hide and seek. We had a couple issues that were resolved quickly and kindly from the Itrip team. The house does need a deep clean and it is very worn. There are a lot of updates that need to be done, but the basics of what we needed were there and the main surfaces in the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. It is not luxurious, but as a more affordable option it was worth it to us!

Perfect St Augustine Getaway!

Great place and close to St Augustine.

Great place to stay with a nice pool. The beach access is close and it doesn’t get very crowded, we didn’t have problems to find a parking spot, and there was a shower to rinse off the sand from the kids before getting in the car The house is good and clean but the outside needs some updating, we didn’t have any problems but it would look nice.

The house was great for our group of eight older ladies great location loved the big room upstairs and the large dining table The house does need to have a deep clean one guest put on new white slippers and within a very short time they were black the floors were dirty The outside grill looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time bit took time ti burn off food residue and get it clean Bathrooms needed cleaning in the shower areas and the white doors were dirty all around handles

Family Reunion

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for all the adults and children to enjoy. The pool was awesome. In the afternoon when the children napped - we took full advantage of the pool. We had a couple of small issues at check-in that were handled extremely fast!! All communication was fantastic. We would rent again when we return to St Augustine.

Lots of issues. Kitchen sink was leaking, dishwasher was filthy and we had to clean the filter, oven was smoking when we turned it on, washing machine hose fell off and flooded the laundry room, a door knob to an exterior door fell off.
