It was a great place to stay. Meant a lot for our family to get together to celebrate thanksgiving.Only con that comes to mind is the trash situation, very much an inconvenience. As for the cabin itself it was very nice.
The views from this cabin are amazing - from bedrooms and porches. The hot tub was great and we all got a lot of use out of it. The game area needs a little attention - there was only one actual dart and the arcade game didn’t work. We did enjoy the pool table. The biggest issue I had was advertising four king size beds - two of these were twin mattresses pushed together without the use of a connector, mattress topper and king size fitted sheet. I think these little changes even with the twin mattresses would make a big difference. Especially since these beds are in the bedrooms with connecting bathrooms so likely the ones utilized by adults as master baths. Overall a good property but could use a few small changes.

Thank you for your feedback—we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. For clarity, the beds are not two twin beds pushed together. One of the California split king beds is in the formal master bedroom, and the other is in the downstairs bedroom adjacent to the game room. Both feature massage and dual controls, allowing each side to be adjusted independently for reading or sleeping, and are secured together underneath to be used as standard king beds. In addition, two other bedrooms are furnished with non-mechanical, luxury king beds. We will also alert our on-site team to ensure the game room is fully equipped. As the arcade game is electronic, we were not previously aware of an issue and will follow up to have it inspected. We’re glad to provide clarification and ensure these details are clearly communicated.
Our family truly enjoyed our 2 night stay! The location was beautiful. The game room was especially fun for our children! The house has plenty of room and gorgeous views!

Great stay!
The views from the decks were better than I could’ve imagined. Lots of space and the pool table always a big plus for our group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return here! Jessica was very quick to respond my questions.
We stayed a long weekend for App State graduation. Perfect for family with lots of activities and space for everyone. Very clean and ample kitchen supplies for all meals. Loved all the deck space and multiple tables throughout the home.
Very spacious home which made it comfortable for a large family. The homeowner had birdseed available at the home. We filled the 2 bird feeders and enjoyed the birds coming to visit. The view is beautiful. Private and quiet neighborhood. The roads are very curvy on the way up to the home. The only concern there was no emergency candles or flashlights available. The power in the neighborhood went out for about 3 hours at night, and it was very dark both inside the house and outside. We used our phone flashlights, and there was 1 Yankee candle to use for extra lighting. I would rent this home again for other family gatherings.
The cabin was in a perfect spot and had a good view of the sunset from the back deck. The game room was by far my favorite area and my daughter felt like she had her own apartment for a week. My only complaint is that the hot tub had a weird smell and the curtain rod above the door closest to the hot tub was loose and it kept getting stuck on the top of the door and I had to take it down. The oven seemed a little dangerous since I daughter bumped it while we put groceries in the refrigerator and the burner turned on, and my son ran threw the kitchen and also bumped the stove and the gas turned on until we smelled it and turned it off and opened the windows for a while. Overall, I'd love to stay again during the fall or winter!

We regret that you experienced a few issues during your stay, though we’re glad you enjoyed the location, the sunset views, and the game room. We also love hearing that your daughter felt at home in her own space! After sending your feedback to the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:- The hot tub is professionally maintained, but after extended daily use it may develop an odor. We’ll make sure it’s thoroughly serviced and in top condition before each guest’s arrival.- The curtain tie-back above the door is designed to hold the curtain open so it doesn’t catch. We’ll double-check to ensure everything is working smoothly.- The oven is a standard gas appliance and functions safely as intended. While the knobs can be turned on if bumped, the burners cannot ignite on their own. Thanks for your thoughtful review and for pointing out both the highlights of your stay and the areas where we can improve!
The house was beautiful! It had great views of the mountains. The game room was a big hit with our family due to the storm that came through and we were unable to go outside. We had to cut our stay short due to not having power from the storm. The owner, Suzanne, was very attentive and wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent this property again!
Our family (8 adults) spent the weekend in the mountains and loved this cabin! Beautiful setting and so cozy. Great space for everyone! We enjoyed walking and exploring some of the trails. Kitchen was great for cooking and lots of space for family time. Ended the weekend with a visit to a Christmas tree farm. Would love to stay again!
The place was better than advertised. We all had a wonderful time. Plenty of space. Deer visiting in the back yard. And the sound of a coyote pack echoing through the valley. It was awesome.
The house was very nice and cozy. When we arrived the hot tub was uncovered and the water was very low. We ended up adding water to it and putting the cover back on in order to use it but after everything we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is really spacious and had plenty of room with comfortable beds.
The pictures online do not do this house justice.. The view is fantastic. Nice community pool. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating yet still allowing plenty of space. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated. The game room was large and perfect for a night of entertainment. I had a few questions for the “contact “ person Suzanne who responded to my questions immediately. We had a great time.

Hi Linda, the owners asked us to pass along the following: "Thank you! We're so glad you enjoyed it." We hope to host you again in the future!
This was an amazing property and it was so easy to get in touch when we had an issue with the upstairs ac unit. Evidently the people who stayed before us left it on 65 and it froze up. They had someone out the next morning to fix it. The house has plenty of room and gorgeous views. We are thinking of going back in December.

Beautiful View/Awesome House/Amazing Stay/You Should Book This House Now
Perfect house for our 3 families to gather. Only disappointment was that the pool was not open at the clubhouse. Otherwise, exactly as listed. Sooo many things to do! Beds were comfy and 2 w/ massage features. Not a a single complaint from the 4 kids about being bored. Game floor was entertaining for days. Hot tub was the perfect way to relax. Hiking and nature, with beautiful views. Note that roads have a few tight switchbacks/curves and no lights. Settling in is recommended before sunset. Clubhouse had a fantastic library and gym. About 25-30 minutes to get to shopping, so plan ahead. Clean, beautiful hardwoods and well stocked kitchen supplies. Fantastic bird watching...saw Cardinals, Blue Jays, Finches and many more feeding right off of the deck. Would definitely stay again!

Rented this place for family vacation. The view from the deck was gorgeous. There was plenty of room for all of us. It is located in the mountains, closest grocery store took us 20-25 minutes around windy roads. Place was not suitable for young children. There is no yard for playing, the pool was 4ft at the shallow end, and the playground wasn’t kept up. I would not recommend for a family with young children, however, I felt it would be great for adults

Overall the cabin was what the other reviews had stated. They were lots of dead bugs daily even tho i continuously cleaned them up, but not really sure how you cld prevent this. The upstairs a/c unit was out making it very difficult for ppl to sleep up there. The house itself was good just needs some updates due to renters not taking good care of things.
