Really wonderful home base of our journeying to Silverton, Ouray and surrounding areas. I have bad allergies and need a/c usually pretty cool; however, given cool nights and our hiking in the days, the fan and opening the window at night a bit, it was perfectly comfortable. Great host, accessible and helpful informative book so we could relax well in the space.

Awesome ski vacation!

Property was as advertised. Very comfortable for my husband and myself with our 17 yr old son on the pull out couch. We had a great time with excellent skiing. Thank you so much.

Honest review: location is convenient to purgatory resort. We used a car to go back and forth but I believe there is a shuttle available at scheduled times. On site ski shop is nice to have access to. It is located downstairs from the main lobby. There was one day the main lobby was closed and locked about 1 hour before the ski shop had supposedly closed. Rarely was there someone in the main lobby to greet or assist with questions/answers. The pool and hot tubs are nice. Pool bathrooms have a dry sauna and shower. Game room is a nice added amenity but wish hours were open beyond 5pm. We enjoyed the throwback arcade games and pool table that took coins but were cheap and fun. Our unit: was dated but served us well with the exception of the pullout couch. The couch as a couch only is not a problem.The pullout bed is terrible and in desperate need of replacement or repair if is to be advertised as an acceptable sleeping surface. I would stay again if the price remains fair and if I don’t need the pullout.

The property manager was attentive, professional and helpful for a smooth check in and excellent rental experience. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful location and a breath-taking view! Perfect for hikers, mountain bikers, rock climbers, families, and nature lovers! Saw lots of wildlife on property during my stay- elk, black bear, deer, red fox and coyote. Lots of amenities on property (pool, pickleball courts, hikes). Perfect stay.

Exactly as described!

Very pleased with this condo's overall value during the Christmas season. The very large condo project is just 1 or 2 miles from the entrance to Purgatory! I would stay here again! During winter just plan to drive your SUV and equipment there and back. It is super easy! Upper or Lower Columbine lot at the bottom of the resort and a shuttle picks you up there to take you up.

All went very well except the heat was uncomfortable in a non air conditioned condo. We stayed out of the condo all day and didn’t come back till late in the day. The temps ran into the mid to upper 80’s.

I have a broken foot, wife is 83 years old and not in good health. Room had lots of stairs to access it... room was nice but it was not a pleasant stay. Manager said not other rooms available without stairs... sad mistake, I should have never stayed there... stairs were not mentioned in the listing.... it was a sorry stay............

Met expectations for 2 to 4 people

This unit was as advertised. It was clean and good for 2 - 4 people, although 2 people would sleep on a fold out couch. It doesn't have much of a view, especially in the winter. We looked out to a snow berm and many chunks of ice on the small deck. Since we were there to ski, this was all fine. A place to sleep and make a few meals. Access to this unit was OK. We hauled out gear up a set of stairs from the covered garage area. Upper floor guests had 2 flights to manage. We were short a blanket which the property manager immediately addressed. Everything was stocked properly. We will come back if we are looking for this size a unit again. With a larger group, we would look at Cascade Villages larger units uphill from this unit.

Location just north of Purgatory resort. They have a shuttle. A pool, hot tub… we didn’t use it. We did use the exercise room which was good for us. Just enough kitchen stuff to make dinner.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off I have to address the bed... it was way too firm for us. Very uncomfortable and no way to make it better means we won’t stay here again. That said, the location is great! Midway between Durango and Silverton, next to Purgatory ski resort and the nugget, you have anything you need close by. We did a quick run to Needles for bacon and eggs to make breakfast. The room itself is a throwback to the 80’s. It was clean. A tad warm but the box fan in the room helped! Toilet kept getting stuck but the shower worked well. They do have shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was convenient. We used the hot tub in the pool area, the jets seemed too strong for the size of the hot tub but was nice to relax in at the end of the day. Great place to stay the bed was just too firm for us!
