5 Minute to Whiskey Run Golf Course! Waterfront property- Hot tub + Sauna!

Niagara is the warmest part of Ontario, and we have some fantastic beach days in the autumn, with a totally deserted beach.
The water is usually swimmable (Muskoka summer temps) into October.

Relax and unwind at our Nickel Beach Retreat! Our beautiful year round lakefront home has 4 bedrooms. Quality features include updated kitchen, private access to Nickel Beach (A top 10 beach in Ontario which is great for swimming) a wonderful sunroom overlooking Lake Erie. Cozy up near the fireplace or head down to the beach for some water activities. This home is perfect for families or a group of friends. The property is surrounded by shade trees + a private forest on the west adding extra privacy. Walk through the gazebo to the covered hot tub overlooking the beach dryly in summer or winter.

4 kayaks and water toys included with rental.

The location of the house was incredible. It's right on the beach and you are given amazing views of Lake Erie. Beach is very private given that there is not easy public access to the beach area. The water was clear and the sand was nice. The house is large, enough for a few families to stay in. The only downside were the amenities. It offers paddleboards, but no paddleboard oars (kayak oars do not work for paddleboards). We also had some electric issues and tripped the circuit breaker a few times. The host was very responsive and allowed early check in and late check out (amazing!), and we would stay again.

Lovely home and A+ property manager

Our family had a lovely time staying here for my mother’s 80th birthday celebration. Lots to do inside and out. The only thing challenging for us was the final stairs from the house down to the beach. Very steep and challenging so my parents couldn’t enjoy the lake, but that was not our main activity and we had a great time. Katherine was so responsive and very helpful. Wonderful property and would definitely stay again.

Family vacation

The home is spacious and the beach is wonderful. It was perfect for our family with smaller children and those unable to swim well. There are a lot of steps down to the beach which can make it difficult for some people.

Truly a hidden gem - the private beach was like a luxury resort

The house worked perfect for our family vacation - easy drive to Niagara Falls but after being there for one afternoon and finding the beach - all the water/beach things available by the host - we had no desire to leave! Although the bedrooms were quite warm - due to the incredibly hot humid weather - the payoff was the outdoor space - so many options - a sitting area over the Lake, outdoor kitchen and of course the private beach - truly an amazing home and the host was wonderful!! Thought of everything - games, kitchen stocked with all the basics and more - and the games room would have been awesome should we have had any rain or a bad beach day - thank you so much Katherine! We are already planning our trip back!! Any family would be lucky to stay here and make so many amazing memories!

The house was great for a wedding party to get ready at, awesome for taking some pre wedding pictures. Nice drive into falls for wedding. Comfortable for grandma great grandma to stay with grandchild and younger sibling out of the falls.

Best Stay Ever!

My husband & I & our 2 teenage boys, my sister & her husband & their 26 yo son & our parents all flew in to stay the week. We’ve been doing destination family reunions for years, and this place has been our absolute favorite ever! Our boys played football on the beach, rode in the kayaks, we swam, enjoyed the hot tub & sauna, and the downstairs amenities sealed the deal for best entertainment ever! We loved how private the place was, yet steps from the beach. We started each morning on the side deck overlooking the water. We would love to one day return! It’s hard to find a place that 9 people all love, but this hidden gem was it!!! Hands down our favorite stay ever!

Private Beach Retreat

Such a gorgeous property with everything included other than food pretty much. Coffee and tea was included. Katherine was super fast to respond whenever I had a question. I would love to stay at this gorgeous location again. If you have elderly or handicapped members of your party, just be aware that the beach is down a very steep set of stairs. The house itself had lots of stairs, but most of the bedrooms were on the first floor. I very highly recommend this house and Katherine :)

One of the best rentals we've had

This spot is remarkable and is hands down one of the top rental houses I've ever rented. Super spacious with an amazing beach area. Sauna and hot tub made it especially enjoyable. Katherine was super responsive with messaging. Will 100% stay again.

Adult long weekend

Fun weekend with alot of amenities. Hot tub, bonfire, ping pong, and a beautiful beach! We enjoyed cooking in a very well stocked kitchen and also used the clean bbq. Relaxing and card playing in the sun room. Lots to explore in the area and enjoyed lunch at The Garden Houzz outside of Port Colburne and a delicious supper at Rizzos House of Parm over in Crystal beach. The house had comfortable beds and lots of linens to choose from. Wifi worked great. The view of Lake Erie is stunning. The trip down to the beach is a bit of a trip down the stairs so make sure you pack everything you need. Lol

Perfect Home for Family

We had the BEST time at this Nickel Beach property that was perfect for large family of 3 kids and 4 adults! Kids loved the playing in Lake Erie behind the house, and we loved how we were so close to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. We made lifetime memories here and our hearts are full. Great host great house

Katherine was very responsive to all my questions. The property was a perfect oasis for a weekend getaway. Kitchen is stocked with spices so we didn’t have to bring much. Bathrooms were clean and big, perfect for bathing toddlers too especially given the tub in one of the bathrooms.

The perfect home away from home

My family and I had the most wonderful time at Katherine’s Nickel Beach Retreat. This place truly feels like a home. Fully equipped with everything you could need/want- towels, linens, spices, beachfront , games, and access to Netflix and crave. The place was extremely clean and well taken care of. We loved it so much, we’ve already planned our return. Excited to come back to enjoying Port Colborne in the summer.
