NEW LISTING! Welcome to Beach House Getaway, a spacious lakeside retreat on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie in Port Colborne. Set on a two-acre large 100-foot private waterfront property with expansive lawn space and panoramic lake views, this fully renovated home is designed for relaxing getaways, family gatherings, and memorable time by the water. With a separate one-bedroom guest house, there is plenty of room for extended family to stay together while still enjoying their own space. Due to City of Port Colborne by-laws, the maximum occupancy is 10 guests (maximum 8 adults).

This property boasts an exceptional outdoor space. The wide waterfront lawn stretches toward the lake, offering plenty of room for outdoor games, lounging in Adirondack chairs, or simply taking in the peaceful views of Lake Erie. Mature trees frame the property, creating a private and relaxing setting that feels like your own lakeside park.

Located on one of Lake Erie’s most coveted private beaches, you’ll have direct private access down to the shoreline. Spend your days swimming, beachcombing, or strolling along the water’s edge. The beach is a mix of sand, rock and shells depending on water levels and season. Bring your beach shoes for the gradual entry water as it is flat rock/shale that can get slippery. For a sandy beach area with sandy water entry, it’s only a few minute walk down the beach, to the public beach area. A foldable wagon is provided to use while walking to the public beach area.

The outdoor living continues right at the house. Start your morning with coffee overlooking the lake, enjoy long summer afternoons relaxing in the yard, and gather in the evening around the wood-burning firepit, propane fire table or beach firepit under the stars. With plenty of space to spread out, the property is perfect for families traveling together or multi-generational groups looking to enjoy time outdoors.

Inside, the main house offers bright, modern interiors and comfortable gathering spaces. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher, making it easy to prepare meals for the whole group. Additional amenities include, pool table, washer and dryer, bar fridge, air conditioning, unlimited Wi-Fi, Smart TV, exercise bike and cozy two-sided natural gas fireplace.

The main home features convenient bungalow-style living with everything on one level, making it comfortable and accessible for all guests.

Guest House (3 season available April 15 – October 31)

The secondary guest house has a cozy open concept living space with electric fireplace, portable A/C, kitchenette, desk space and outdoor dining table. There is a separate bedroom with a queen bed, a pullout queen sofa in the living room and a full 3-piece bathroom.

Located in Port Colborne, you’ll enjoy easy access to beautiful local beaches, charming shops, and waterfront dining along the Welland Canal. A short drive brings you to Niagara Falls where you can visit top attractions including the Falls, Clifton Hill, Fallsview Casino Resort, the Butterfly Conservatory, and Hornblower Cruises. Golf enthusiasts can explore over 40 regional courses including Thundering Waters and Legends on the Niagara, while wine lovers can discover the wineries throughout nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Longer-term monthly pricing is available during the off-season for relocations, short-term work assignments, or extended stays.

Other details to note

We respectfully ask that you treat our home with respect and consider it as your home away from home and remain considerate of the neighbours always.
- Guest house is 3 season and only available April 15 October 31. It has portable A/C, built in space heaters and an electric fireplace but is not insulated. Must use bottle water for drinking.
- Water and beach conditions can change daily and are never guaranteed
- Our cottage is in a residential area and local bylaws require quiet between the hours of 11pm to 8am.
- The Renter whose name the reservation is made is responsible for the conduct of all those using or occupying the vacation property and/or its grounds throughout the duration of their stay.
- When you are not in the house and upon final departure, guests must close and lock all windows and doors. In addition, upon final departure, the Renter must ensure that all food and beverages are removed from the rental property including cabinets, refrigerators and freezers. Failure to remove these items may result in additional cleaning fees
- Renters are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside
- Small, outdoor fires are permitted in the provided fire pit area.
- Please do not move the BBQ to another location on the property and please always double check to make sure it is turned off after every use.
- Please note that absolutely no other items other than bathroom tissue are to be flushed down the toilet. ANYTHING other than bathroom tissue should be placed in the garbage. Any misuse could result in plumbing issues and service calls or repairs will be charged back to the client.
