This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

A Tucked Away HIgh-Desert Treat

We had a brief but delightful stay at this relaxing Sunriver retreat. The cedar vaulted ceilings and stone-framed fireplace (a welcome treat on a brisk evening, btw) created a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The vintage-style Christmas decorations that dotted the main room add a touch of merry nostalgia. The property's central location made it easy to enjoy everything Sunriver has to offer, and we would gladly stay here again.

Great house!

House was great, lots of indoor and outdoor spaces. Access to bikes a plus! Walkable to a market grocery store and loved the quiet street.

Great space! Only downside was that the dishwasher was broken while we were there. Property management informed us of the broken dishwasher and unfortunately they couldn’t fix it before we arrived.

Great for families

The house has everything we needed for our extended family stay. We initially booked our weekend to check out Bend, but once we realized how close the sun river village and SHARC were we never made it out of neighborhood.

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time at 1 Shagbark. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Great location and quiet area. So pretty looking off the deck. Hot tub was wonderful after long walks. We go to Sun River yearly and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Good house for our family

We make a trip to Bend every year. This year we stayed in Sunriver instead. It was a great location and the house was a nice layout with plenty of space for a family of 5 and 2 dogs. I also loved that we had access to the garage. The only bad thing I would say is the pillows in the master were hard (memory foam) but we grabbed some off one of the other beds and the issue was fixed. It could also use some paper towels and spices but not a deal breaker for my crew.

Wonderful comfortable home

This home was a great place to stay. Not the fanciest but really comfortable, clean and neat but not intimidating. You can enjoy the home without feeling like you’re in a museum. The home is located in the north end of Sunriver, very quiet. It is a car drive to the SHARC and the Village. To far to walk and biking there would be a chore. However, the great price and SHARC passes at this home make the drive worth it. The service by the property manager was excellent. We had one little problem which they remedy very quickly.

House was in a nice location for us; close to the north market, dog park, and centrally located to Fort Rock Park, the pedestrian river bridge, and the Sun-Lava trail. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice outdoor seating for summer. Enjoyed use of the bikes and there was one float tube we used. Hot tub was nice, but doesn’t have a lift assist for the lid. We always enjoy the Rec Plus passes. Note there is not a bathroom in the main living area. They are downstairs. It wasn’t an issue for us but if you have anyone who has trouble with stairs it’s something to keep in mind. I would stay at this location again.

Great home for family get-together

We’ve stayed in Sunriver many times but think this was our favorite spot yet. Convenient location within easy walking distance of Cottonwood market. Home is light and airy, yet still very cozy. Very well appointed kitchen including some extras like a number of spices not always available in VRBO homes. Hot tub was appreciated. Comfy beds. Only callout for other ‘olds’ like us was that while the listing clearly stated that ROKU TV was available we didn’t fully understand that that could make viewing some of the sporting events we wanted to see just a little more challenging to view, compared to a house equipped with old-school cable. Again, this was not for lack of communication on the host’s part, but just mentioning it as something that other less than techie savvy might want to note.

Nice home

This house was great for our family of 3 and our dog. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of room to store groceries and cook. The air conditioning had a difficult time cooling the upper level since the thermostat is downstairs. However, it was comfortable enough and nice and cool on the lower level where the bedrooms are. Very easy location to find and very close to the bike path with many options of routes to explore SR. We really liked how the upper deck is fully enclosed- easy to hang out there without worrying about the dog. There are a few boards on the deck that seem a little "bouncy" and likely need repair. One drawback if you have a larger group, would be that the outdoor dining table only seats 4. We have stayed in many homes in SR over the years and we would definitely recommend this home and hope to stay here again!

Great spot for families!

We had a blast at this house! Lots of space for the kids to run around and the floor plan with the bedrooms on the bottom floor is great. As other reviewers noted, the kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed (and then some!). Reg was a pleasure to work with and answered a few annoying questions of mine in a timely manner. Overall, extremely communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location! Close to river and minutes from SHARQ

We had a wonderful stay! The property is perfect for kids and adults. The air was so nice since it was over 100 outside during our stay. The SHARQ passes were so nice for access to the river as well as the aquatic center. Loved having the bikes for all the trails. Would be nice to have a wrench to adjust the kids seats. We had some issues with the internet being reliable. Overall it was a great family house and we enjoyed our stay! Love Sunriver!

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay so much! Chicken was easy, and everything was nearly perfect. The only issue was that the upstairs vacuumed, and there was a lot of pet hair. Easy mistake to make, and they offered to come vacuum immediately. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and included a wonderful gift basket with wine and snacks. I wish it was a bit closer to the waterpark and Lodge. Bike trails near by made it reasonable for adults to ride to Sharc, but too far for kids to ride. The provided bikes worked great! The seats were not easily adjusted, but they did drop off tools to adjust. I suggest quick release seat adjustments on kids bikes. Hot tub was clean and nice. Fridge worked great, but ice maker not functioning, so had to buy ice. Very convenient garage remote made it easy to get in and out. Beautiful quiet area, and great deal for relaxing. No bath on main floor. Main living area required many steps up. Sharc passes for entire family we’re great! We will definitely return!

Beautiful Sunriver home

Great home, plenty of room, easy access from hwy, grocery store close, other side from village so less traffic. Nice and peaceful.
