You’ll love the quiet location of this gorgeous home at the top of a cul-de-sac overlooking the sea in beautiful Bella Beach. With all the amenities you want and an easy walk to access miles of beach, Beach Song will delight your family and friends and provide the perfect launchpad to your coastal adventures. The upper-level great room has soaring wood ceilings and hardwood flooring and details, giving it an elegant, warm, convivial atmosphere with lots of light. You can watch breaking waves out of the large west-facing windows or the upper deck, lined with chairs and wind-screened for comfort. The large comfy sofa and upscale recliners let you stretch out in front of the rocky gas fireplace to enjoy the 55-inch 4k Google Smart TV. A gourmet Five Star gas range, stainless appliances, and loads of extras make the kitchen a joy-inducing cook space. The ocean-view queen bedroom has sliders to the deck and large windows to the ocean, and you’ll love the beautiful art-glass surround of the shower and deep jetted spa tub. Downstairs, two bedrooms, a shared bath, and proximity to the ping-pong table, the corn hole game in the garage, and the brand new, ocean-view hot tub for six outdoors. A set of chairs around a fire-pit gives you the option of s’mores and star-gazing to the sounds of the surf. Great stay!

We really enjoyed the beaituful view of the ocean and sunset from the comfortable livingroom with large windows. The hot tub was a plus, and the close proximity to the beach was excellent.

Great location, beautiful view

Property was everything we needed. View was great, beach acess was easy and just a short walk. House was a wonderful layout, bedroom and bathroom plus kitchen and living room up stairs, then two more bedrooms bathroom, and garage downstairs. Full laundry, our group of 4 adults and 4 kiddos found it a wonderful stay. Wish we could've stayed longer than we did.

Dated but mostly cozy, nice view of the ocean, decently stocked kitchen and very clean and nice hot tub. They are extremely strict with check-in and check-out (couldn't even use the door code until right at 4pm, not a minute before), which is frustrating, especially when there were no bookings after us. We were also very disappointed upon arrival that there was no hand or body soap in the entire house. We couldn't even use the restroom until we took a trip to the store. This may seem trivial but feel that is a big thing to overlook on the rental agency given the cost of this place, the strict check in/out times, and the check-out cleaning requirements (even though there is a cleaning fee associated with the booking). I'd think twice next time I rent with Meredith Rental Properties.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the location. We love this area. We were here for my mom’s 80th birthday and she really loved it. The only thing we saw that needs taken care of is the ceiling fan needs to be cleaned. Otherwise the property was great.

Lovely stay just north of Depot Bay

Great 3 bedroom house just north of Depot Bay. The house was immaculate on arrival. Great view of the ocean from the upper deck, saw many whale spouts. The neighborhood is very cute with a nice cafe for breakfast. Kitchen had everything I needed to eat in. The main floor is on the second level up a fairly steep set of stairs (kitchen, primary bedroom), so something to keep in mind for dogs or people with mobility limitations. Would definitely stay here again.

Birthday celebration

Great house, great location. Beds comfy, hot tub perfect, view amazing. Well stocked. Refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed, freezer very dirty with crumbs. Oven door didn't close securely. When we arrived there was urine in the downstairs toilet and lid was up, this greeted us with an unpleasant odor

Very nice place but it could definitely use some changes. Starting with the Dining table, very old and chairs are siper uncomfortable! The stove is missing the knob to the griddle. The BBQ grill is super old, and dirty!The bed in the master bedroom is uncomfortable, seems as if the mattress springs are popping up. The sheets didn't smell clean,I'm afraid they made the bed without washing them after the guest before us. They finally got a new Keurig rather than just having the old school coffee pot. OH and make sure to bring sugar because they only have Splenda. One of the freezer shelves is broken so it's taped up. For the most part it was enjoyable, the view of the water and sunsets are spectacular!

Serious stair concern

My adult son, our two older dogs and I spent four nights and for the most part we had a wonderful time. The weather couldn't have been better. We really enjoyed beach access. The one thing I feel compelled to address is the danger inherent in the hard stairs. Twice, one of our dogs slid all the way down and banged into the door. He couldn't stop himself. What if it had been a human? Please, please install a runner or something.

Marginal at best

The place is highly overpriced. The beds were lumpy, and the furniture is old, ragged, broken and uncomfortable. It is not handicap friendly. The review makes it look like the main floor is downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs, but it is just the opposite. So, if you are older or have any stair issues this is not the place for you. It does NOT have a beach access unless you want to walk a few blocks and down MANY MORE stairs. Just to be fair, however, the view from the house is lovely and it is a basically clean facility.

We did enjoy our stay in this house. My only issue was the fact that we all pay these enormous cleaning, etc fees and then we get there and one of the bedroom tv's is out of order and the other bedroom tv does not work properly. Also the refrigerator had duct tape on it. Really!! It is also advertised that if you want a early or late check in or out just to let them know. We asked several times for a late checkout. Finally on the last day we were told that the housekeeping staff would be to busy to accommodate this request. Then we were told they need the time to get the house we were at ready for the next guest. I looked online and it was not reserved so I asked again. Finally we were granted the request. Funny think is that there are several rentals around this house. The people in front of us left on Sunday and did not turn the upstairs bathroom light off. No cleaning people were at this property on Sunday so the light was shining in my bedroom all night. Again why do we have to pay more in fees than we do for the rental itself. We have stayed in other houses and been satisfied, but this rental company did not seem to care.

Recommendations: -Put a light on the address as it is not visible in the dark (we arrived after sunset) -Put the name of house "Beach Song" on front of house and take away the sign that reads "Beach House" (we thought we were at the wrong place). -Include in keypad instructions to press the check mark to unlock. To lock when leaving, press the lock. (no two keypads are the same). -Build a closet in the garage or above washer/dryer for linen storage. (Downstairs bdrm closet is not usable as it is filled with linens. Upstairs bdrm has the same issues with linen and other storage taking up a majority of the space. 3rd room with 2 beds has no closet.) -In house instructions, include 1) how to use the fireplace (if it can be used) 2) what chairs to take outside to use around fire pit (if the fire put is usable) -Ping pong table top has pealing paint and is slanted on both sides. We brought our paddles and balls, and really could not play. Although upon zooming into the picture on website, the pealing can be seen. -The "suite" is really just a large bdrm. Bathroom is outside the room in the hallway. Many good things about the house - board games, beach towels, view, access to beach, location, space for cooking, nice stove, good hot tub instructions, etc. Overall, this is a home in a beautiful location amongst lots of vacation rental homes. Nothing major wrong, just no personal touch with signs of aging (examples: broken tub stopper; broken top tray of dishwasher).

Great place to stay! House is well equipped and the view is awesome. I’m sure we’ll be back next year for the same tennis tournament and stay there
