Located just across from C’est la Vie, Bella Beach’s French café, and fronting a shady, manicured park, Odyssea is a sunny, gracious cottage that will embrace you with comfort and beauty for your time at the beach. The front porch is the perfect place to watch the kids play in the park or enjoy your morning coffee, but you might prefer to soak in the sunken hot tub surrounded by the sweet starfish porch railing. Inside, you’ll love the warmth of the honey-colored hardwood floors and colored slate tiles around the fireplace, and on the kitchen counters and backsplash. The relaxed sea-themed décor, comfortable furnishings, and filtered sunlight through high windows invite you to kick back and enjoy time with family and friends. Cozy up to the gas fireplace, open the wall cabinet for the flat-screen TV or Wii, or gaze out at the park as you enjoy a meal from the fully equipped kitchen. A main-floor queen bedroom suite has a walk-in shower; upstairs, the sky-lit hallway has a work area between two queen bedrooms, one with park views and a TV. It’s a five-minute walk through Bella Beach’s pretty neighborhood to the beach access or the kids’ playground; you can walk across the street to the café for an afternoon treat. By car, you’re minutes from the dining and shopping of Gleneden Beach, Salishan, Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, or Newport, so you have day trips galore ahead of you. What a great space! The house was so comfortable, spacious, clean, and well stocked. It was the perfect holiday getaway! The hot tub was fantastic as well. Very cute area with easy access to the beach. I would love to stay here again.

Sugar Ant Heaven

The house itself was great. The fact that it was infested with sugar ants was absolutely gross! We had ants in all rooms of the house, and no, food was not left out. I would never stay here again.

Cute place in the neighborhood with a lovely coffee shop right across the street with amazing crêpes and chai! Lovely selection of games and puzzles in the home. Nice variety of pillows and the showers were amazing. Loved being able to bring our dogs.It was a shame we were asked to wait two hours to check in at 6 PM instead of 4 PM… Especially since half the group was already en route & had to “kill time”…and one of the bedrooms still wasn’t cleaned/flipped. They offered us 25 dinner credit per person while we waited, but not sure that was sufficient for the amount of money that we paid for the house. We asked if we could have a little more time on Sunday since the check-in was delayed, but we were told no.Some basics were missing from the kitchen, such as wrap/foil and cooking spray. We also wished there was a binder/folder of information and suggested things to do in the area as that’s been a standard at every other place we’ve stayed. There were some local yellow pages on-site though.
