The location was great for SXS riding. We easily fit 3 trucks and 3 trailers. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms could use an update. Flushing the toilets was sketchy they filled right up and took forever going doing.

We're glad the location worked out well for your SXS trip and that you had plenty of room for the trucks and trailers, plus comfortable beds. We appreciate you letting us know about the toilets, and a new one is set to be installed next month. As for the bathrooms, they do match what's shown in the listing photos.

Away from it all

House was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room to hang out and visit. We really enjoyed everything about it and would come back. For the price, if you want to get away from it all- this is a great choice.

Great cabin! We liked it so much that we returned again this year. Can catch bluegill and bass from the dock. Lots of great ORV trails very close by. Owner communicates very well.

Great spot

We were overall happy with the property. Great place/location to continue our yearly get together. Property was nice and had basic amenities however there were mouse droppings in multiple places and BBQ grill did not get hot enough to cook on.

Together Time

Our stay at Avery Lake provided time together of things we like to do as a family. We were able to fish, hike, kayak, have a campfire, and cook alot of good food with no reason to rush. Thank you for sharing the beautiful lakehouse.

This is a great cabin! The owner communicated local attractions and necessities perfectly. The kayaks and pedal boat were in working condition and got daily use from our family. There are tons of ORV trails nearby. A lot of them are large enough that my Jeep got a workout. Anyone that's ever been to a family cabin up north will feel at home here. 10/10 would stay here again.

Home away from Home

This was a nice place to stay with the family! We all had our own rooms and bathrooms so that was a plus! It was a quiet place and we enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks and had a nice little fire by the water. We did have issues with connecting to WiFi and wasn’t able to get the TV to work but I wouldn’t say that was a bad thing. It made us enjoy each others company without electronics! The kitchen was not the cleanest. We had to wash all our dishes before using them. Beds were comfortable!

A week of fishing

We had a very good stay at this house on Avery Lake. Water access and views were excellent. We enjoyed fishing on Avery Lake and also had a fabulous time fishing the AuSable River which was an easy 40 minute drive from the house. Instructions for check in and check out were clear. We found the house to be clean, towels on the beds, and everything we needed for preparing meals. Suggestions for grocery stores and restaurants were helpful. The location was quiet, with only a few summer homes occupied during the time we were there. The common areas worked really well for hanging out in the evening and playing cards. We had a great week at the house.

Was perfect for us. We had group of six and had plenty of room. The outside was great. Only negative was one of the shower heads in upstairs bathroom broke when the first person tried to take shower but we managed to make 1 shower work. Host tried to get fixed same day but with this being in such a remote location was not able to get to hardware store for the part. Place is great will be back.
