Great spot

This is a great place to stay at Bolton Valley. We did a couple of beautiful hikes and ate at the tavern. The condo is fully stocked and very comfortable. Cecilia was very responsive and helpful. It really is a lovely place!

Great locale, yet tucked away

Our second stay in this unit, all the comforts of home, just across the street from the wilderness lift, this lower level unit has walkout access to XC, uphill route and rec center, the host is great!!

We loved staying at this condo. It had everything we needed and i could easily walk onto the slopes and my sisters could easily walk over to the pool and hot tub. You couldn’t ask for more.

Another Great Stay

This is our 4th time staying at Cecilia's place and we will be booking next year as well. Its the perfect location to ski all day and night, its clean, spacious and has everything we need to spend a long weekend at the mountain and not leave.

Great communication, decent rental

Communication was amazing, which is so important. The place was, for the most part as described. Very outdated, but that was reflected in the price and photos. Lots of extras, bedding towels, pillows and kitchen items. Major downfall, they were doing construction and all the parking and road was torn up which made navigation difficult. The fireplace was really nice. Lots of trying to figure out all the different thermometers in each room. Great and. photos.

Nice owner who were very accommodating and accessible. The second bedroom bed was more for small children and not for my adult daughter. She ended up using the futon in the living room. One last thing which was not the fault of the owner. But we had to use the back walk-way and a large dog was allowed to roam in the backyard and walk-way. Where on several occasion he would poop in the walk-way. And the dog owner did not clean it up.

A Rustic Condo in the Mountains

If you're going to be in Bolton Valley, I can't recommend this unit booked via Vrbo highly enough. The rooms may be small but are well utilized. Everything you could want in a stay is all right there. Personally, I would rather stay in private condo unit than a posh hotel. It's so much more than a room for ha fraction of the cost. The host is also a peach!

Great spot!

Stayed for a long weekend to visit colleges with our kids and it was a perfect place for us. Everything you could think of was there with clear instructions. We went in June and the weather was amazing! Very clean and wonderful hosts! Highly recommend!

Great place to crash between events

My husband, 2 young daughters and I stayed in this home during the weekend my sister was getting married at the Ponds (right down the hill). Though we didn't spend too much time in to Condo, we could have! My daughters were thrilled to see stuffies and toys there and they took advantage of having those. I can't speak for the other beds, but the queen bed in the main bedroom was SOOO comfortable. It was also nice to have condiments and other last minute things that can be easily forgotten about.

Quick Access to Bolton Lodge, Trails

One last weekend on the trails for our family of 5! Kids room had bunk bed and pull out bed, plus a standard twin. Easy access, located right behind Bolton Lodge. Twinkle lights around the fireplace made the space even cozier.

We reside in Essex Junction, 25 miles from Bolton Valley, but we love the Mountain in all seasons of the year, because we love hiking and cross-country skiing and beautiful scenery and wildlife of Vermont. So when we can, we get up to the mountain and enjoy all it has to offer.
We both got our degrees in forestry and met during Peace Corps years in West Africa.
John is finally retired from project management duties and Ceece is not far behind.
Our children are all in their 30s and 40s now. We spend time volunteering at the church and for various events and causes, enjoy bike rides and hikes, and try to maintain our creative sides in between chores.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Anyone who loves forest scenery and mountains, sunsets over Vermont's Long Trail, the cleansing effect of a snow blanket, or fall colors will find this place calming and spiritually restorative. The convenience of being so close to the ski slopes is quite a plus. Children and adults enjoy playing board games, watching TV, getting outside, hiking, visiting the sports center to swim or use gym features, play pickleball, and just being at a higher elevation with expansive views.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our propane-fired fireplace looks like a real wood-burning one. The winter feels toasty with the two gas heaters and backup electric baseboards throughout. We recently updated the floors and carpet, as well as light fixtures.
Walk up the stairs and you are close to the base lodge and restaurants; walk out the sliding glass door and you are practically on the nordic ski trails.
