About Wendy Goldstein
David and Wendy Goldstein are born entrepreneurs. They run a corporate team building company, a dinner theater, a tour company and their first guest house in their hometown of Sharon, MA. The Sharon Guest House is adjacent to their family home, the Hannah Leonard House which was built in 1776. Originally an office, this one-bedroom apartment became a family business designed to pay for college for their three children. Two of the three have graduated, the oldest Samantha from George Washington University and then Baylee from Penn State and one more, Ty still to go. In 2015 on a business trip to Amelia Island, David and Wendy took a drive to St. Augustine during the Nights of Lights. They fell in love, with St. Augustine and have been trying to find a way to spend more time here. The St. Augustine Guest House was born. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do as we will make it available when we are not here.
Wendy Goldstein purchased this Guest House in 2016
Why Wendy Goldstein chose Downtown Historic District
When we last came down, we stayed at a fantastic VRBO rental in Lincolnville, and we shared the weekend with David's brother and his wife who drove down from Atlanta. They loved St. Augustine as well. Right before we left, we found this property, now the St. Augustine Guest House, in a perfect location and decided that this will begin the next chapter of our lives. This time our children are older and are helping us decorate, market, host and run our home away from home. You'll get a great feel for who we are and what we do by staying here. We know you'll love it!
What makes this Guest House unique
The location really is in the middle of it all. The guest house is on the most beautiful streets in Downtown, Hypolita Street. We work with our neighbors to make your stay as unique and memorable as possible starting with a wine tasting downstairs at the Gifted Cork. Parking is steps away from your door in our dedicated space. If you are interested in the perfect day at the beach, our City & Sand package at the Serenata Beach Club really gives you the best of both worlds.

St. Augustine great!
Super location! Very comfortable with lots of room and very well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed or wanted for our stay. Would definitely stay at this property or their other location in St. Augustine.
Downtown St Augustine
The location was superb!! We were able to sit out on the balcony and watch the trains, trollies, and people go by. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants
Great Weekend Getaway
Great weekend getaway. Great property and hosts!
This was our 2nd stay at the St Augustine Guest House. We had a great time seeing the Nights of Lights. The property is super clean, has everything you need, and the location is walkable to St George St and many local attractions. We had a great time sitting on the balcony as trolleys and carriages went by. It can get noisy at night, but the white noise machines did the trick. We'll definitely be back!!
Great Weekend at St Augustine
Awesome Place with a Great Location. Very, very well prepared for the Guests.
You will enjoy every second of it.
When we visit St. Augustine there is never enough time to get everything in we want to do! Mid-November to end of January the city is covered in lights from the Nights of Lights. You can ride a Holly Jolly Trolley and enjoy the lights and sing holiday tunes. Bringing the family on a ghost tour by foot, bus or trolley is always a popular choice. A ride to Marineland to either feed or swim with the dolphins is awesome! Tour the Distillery or Sebastian Winery, have a drink at night on top of the Winery and listen to music, or watch your ice being carved and have a drink and pretzel at the Ice Plant. Whetsone Chocolate Factory offers daily tours, or if chocolate isn't your thing try an Escape Room! Old Town Trolleys or Gold Tours will tour you through town. Visit Uptown the last Saturday of each month, or take an Art Tour the first Friday of each month. The choices are endless!
