Camp Willow Cottages are located on the Lake Dunlap. Lake Dunlap is part of the guadalupe river. It is a constant level lake designed for skiing, lounging and swimming. 2 1/2 acres of lush green lawn with many 100 foot tall trees. We have 600 feet of water frontage with new fishing dock/pier. A great place to fish, swim or just relax. There is a small boat ramp for those who wish to trailer their fishing or ski boat.
It is a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood setting-away from all the crowds.
Our Camp House is a casual lake house. It is the original farmhouse built on the property that I have renovated but it is still a quaint, eclectic house. We are pet friendly. It is 3 bedroom/2 bath and sleeps 12+people. It includes a wonderful deck on the front that overlooks the water, patio furniture, bbq grill. Washer and dryer in house. House is fully furnished with all bed & bath linens and kitchen utensils/dishes/pots/etc. Nicely decorated in a nautical/fishing motif. Comfortable and rustic casual.
We are located within 5-10 minutes of Schlitterbahn, the Comal River, the Guadalupe River, Gruene Hall and Wurstfest.
A great place for families and reunions. We have a launching ramp on site so bring your jet ski's or boat.
Also 2 cottages (sleep 8 each)
We also have the Red house that sleeps 10.
So the entire property can sleep 38.

About Thor & Courtney
We have lived in Texas for 21 years and enjoy everything about this state including the Texas Coast and wonderful rivers like the Guadalupe. My wife and I love the water and enjoy bringing our kids including our black labs to the water.
Thor & Courtney purchased this House in 2015
Why Thor & Courtney chose New Braunfels
The 100'+ tall cypress trees on this property are amazing. Lots of shade and cool water breeze make this a hidden gem. My Kids love the swimming, fishing, and the huge camp fire site and me and my wife enjoy the quiet, peaceful surroundings.
What makes this House unique
Great location, close to town but just far enough to avoid all the noise. The 100' trees and cool water make it a perfect destination for a quick getaway. If you want to have fun floating the river call our friends at Rockin R tubes and they will pick you up and take you home.

Great lake cabin
Great cabin and location. Would have really enjoyed getting to stay without other things to do, but that was the purpose of the trip.
view was pretty house was not
The pictures online are not what the house looks like now. They were probably taken 10-20 years ago. Only 1 bedroom had a door others had curtains. No privacy and rooms don't stay cool from air conditioners because there are no doors. There were rats and cock roaches. Exterminaters came twice. Simple things to make place look clean would of been to hose down the deck and outside table that had cob webs every where. Dead bugs in light fictures exhaust fan over stove had grease and dust on it and so on and so on. Owners do not want to put any $ into it and just want to make money. 2 people in our group got sick 1 got bacterial infection, could of been from rat poop which was in silverware drawer and on counter.
Beautiful yard, house needs work.
The yard is lovely. The cottage had nice linens and plenty of space. We did see a spider on the bed and 3 cockroaches. The unit could have been cleaned better even though it is advertised rustic. Did not think the cleaners did much more than change linens. The hosts are great.
Great place, really enjoyed
Beautiful view of the lake. Awesome fire pit at night. Plenty of room in the house.
My family & I vacationed here for spring break & loved every minute of it. The house had plenty of room & everything we needed. We had a fire every night next to the lake. The kids had so much fun kayaking in the lake & fishing. What a great vacation. We can't wait to come again.
We stayed at the property while attending an event in Austin and NB over the weekend. The house had plenty of space and the property was kept up really well and was scattered with really nice large willow trees. Everyone in the group had a great time and we would definetly stay at their property again for a weekend get away.
Schlitterbahn, Guadalupe River and Comal River for tubing & rafting, Canyon Lake, ZDT Amusement Park in Seguin, NB Children's Museum, San Antonio Riverwalk and theme parks in San Antonio, Capitol in Austin
