Family Vacation

Our family of four stayed here and it was absolutely perfect! The balcony view was beautiful, just a short walk to the beach and we always love staying in the Sandpiper Cove area! Will definitely stay here again!

Destin Labor Day

Super easy check-in and check-out process. Location was perfect and literally a street away from the beach. The place itself was clean, updated, and spacious. Outside showers made for an easy clean-up & beach supplies stored in the hallway closet were super helpful.

Cute, read the description. Nothing is in the condo

I had to buy coffee, paper towels, laundry. Etc. it is a clean condo. Super cute. Beach service was nice. Probably go back toRenting from private owner so I do not have to buy all the basics.

First 2 days no hot water. 8 pm on the 2nd night we had hot water. My wife took a bath and then we had no hot water until 3 pm on the 3rd day. If 1 person took a shower, no hot water for about 6 to 8 hours. The morning of our last day (check-out) housekeeping knocked on the door at 9:30 am and was opening the door before i could get to the door from the kitchen. She apologized, we decided to go ahead and pack up and get out of there since we got 3 text messages and 2 emails about checking out. Then at 10:30 am someone else from housekeeping knocked on the door about cleaning the room. We immediately packed the truck and cleaned up the place and threw out the trash and left.

Close to the beach, central to everything!

We really enjoyed our condo. It was clean, centrally located, and had a fabulous restaurant (Louisiana Lagniappe) right on the premises. Our balcony overlooked a waterway, where people fished and it attracted a Heron (which we called Seymour) daily. It was fascinating to see this bird patiently wait for the fish that were too small for the fisherman. It rained a lot this week, but the condo was a comfortable hang.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this unit is perfect. It’s close to the pool and not too far if you wanted to walk to the beach. Everything was clean and tidy. Lots of extra pillows for the sofa sleeper. I do think it could have had a big wee variety of kitchen pots and pans, and maybe a crockpot. We’ve been staying at Sandpiper Cove for the past 4 years. This unit is smaller than any we’ve stayed in before. It was a middle unit, I’m not sure if that made a difference on sizing. Overall it was a good stay. We did have our older kid with us so it was a little tight for us. But if it was just the four of us, I’d stay here again.

We love the gated community, the proximity to everything in Destin and the beach. The condo itself is updated and cute. It has about everything you need, including shorter chairs for the beach. Great view of the canal. Staying here was so convenient and more affordable than a beach. Residents of the property are very kind and welcoming.

We also appreciated the security at the front gate. It just made you feel safe.

Loved drinking my morning coffee on the balcony where I enjoyed the view and it's peaceful! The only thing missing was a blender and we purchased one and left it there for others to enjoy! The closet had chairs,2 boogie boards.and a foam cooler to use! We loved the bed, it was so comfortable! We will be booking this condo again!
