The Park View House es un dúplex: un piso de arriba (VRBO 98509) y un piso de abajo (VRBO 1342233). Por favor revise ambos calendarios para disponibilidad. Cada unidad puede acomodar hasta seis personas. Toda la casa se puede alquilar para acomodar grupos más grandes de hasta 12 personas. Cada unidad es de 2 dormitorios y dos baños, además de loft en la parte superior. Todos los dormitorios y baños están separados por la sala de estar, que ofrece una privacidad excepcional para los huéspedes. Arriba hay una habitación King y un baño en suite, una cama doble incorporada del capitán y gemelos en el desván. En la planta baja hay un dormitorio y cuarto de baño de latón Queen, un dormitorio con dos camas y un baño y un sofá cama Queen en la sala de estar. Las tarifas cotizadas son para cada unidad. Las habitaciones con vista es lo que ofrece The Park View House. Está ubicado en Main Street, a solo unos pasos de la intersección principal en la ciudad de State and Main. Great location

Can’t beat the location in downtown harbor springs. Went with my wife, two girls under 2 and our dog. Great park right outside for the dog and beach 2 minutes from property. Enjoyed our stay!

wonderful spot

This is a great location...central to all of Harbor Springs. Everything is within walking distance. The house is very nice; clean, comfortable, and functional. We have now stayed at the Park View House twice, and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This house is like staying at your grandparents home. Definitely a BnB vibe. Rental right on the Main Street was nice. TV and internet worked great. Only 1 TV. No TVs in the bedrooms. We had the upstairs rental. Lots of light and space. The stairs are very steep for older people or people with disabilities. Property manager was very polite.A few downsides. There is no AC, and for being upper Michigan in the summer, we needed it. We sweat the whole trip. Even a window unit would work to cool it off. Second, we were not in the house much, but the downstairs neighbors complained that we were being loud. Since this rental is kids and pet friendly, I figured there would be better insulation. The hot water ran out very quickly.

Great location in relation to restaurants, shops, the harbor, and park.

My wife and I are retired and stayed in the upper unit for 10 days in August 2016 and overall had a very positive experience. We came north from Texas to escape the summer heat, mission accomplished! I grilled out on the deck 4 or 5 times and enjoyed looking out over the park and beach area. We walked to restaurants and ice cream shops!! The twice weekly farmers market is right out front of the house and we took advantage of that. Also, once a week there are street musicians out in the evening and that was great to be able to just walk out the door and listen to. We also took a fishing charter, Plumbers Helper, out of Bay Harbor and came home with awesome lake trout and salmon fillets. We met and talked to the owner Patricia several times and she could not have been nicer. I would say the property needs some TLC, but for the price and location, it was perfect. The negatives have more to do with external factors, not the property. The church across the street rings it's bells at 6 a.m. every day. The first day I almost fell out of bed. The rest of the time, I made sure the bedroom sliding glass door was shut and that eliminated most of the problem. The other issue has to do with noise also. The restaurant adjacent to the property dumps it's empty bottles into a dumpster at various times of the day and night, which also is startling the first time you hear it. The first morning we heard the crash of bottles in the dumpster about an hour after the church bells went off!!! Haaaa. So, plan on taking a nap the first day. I would say that if you were coming with a young family, the negatives wouldn't be much of a factor. The kids would love being able to go across the street to the park and small beach. For us retired types, maybe something more peaceful next time would be more suitable.

Harbor Springs getaway

We loved the location and apartment layout! The front door lock needs work but aside from that, this lovely older home with beautiful front wildflower garden, directly on Main Street and next to the dog-friendly park and beach (dogs permitted in the early morning and evenings) was a delight and perfect for our family.

Charming old property @ great location

This property is located at the end of downtown Harbor Springs which is a very picturesque neighborhood. A block away from the city beach which we frequent daily for swimming. Perfect base if traveling in North Michigan. A few minutes away from Petoskey, 45 mins away from Mackinaw city to catch ferry to Mackinac Island. We were lucky to have mostly good temperature except for a handful of mid-80s weather. Opening the sliding doors and blasting the fan worked for us but I can see how it can be hot if it’s high 80s or 90s

Good location decent accommodations

Great location. Decent accommodations. Newer beds and needs A/C for the hot days. Made it difficult to sleep not having A/C on the hot days. Even a couple of window units at each end of the unit on the windows that are not being used would make a world of difference.

Thank you, Kelly, for your comments. I will consider a couple A/C units. However, I have been told that opening the vented skyline and the three sliding door walls are effective in bringing in the cool breezes. I am not sure which beds you are referencing. The king has a topper which adds much comfort.

Wonderful & fulfilling Family Memories

My family enjoyed our stay. The ambiance of the home with the view of all that Harbor Springs has to offer are on par with the Hampton's. Even the church bells add to the charm of out stay.

clean convenient to downtown Harbor Springs

Nice condo, clean. Convenient location. Master bed extremely soft, scratchy sheets. I had a very difficult time sleeping. Didn't bother my husband. Church bells across the street ring every single morning at 6AM.

Ski Season Rental

Our Family LOVED The Park View House! The location is literally right downtown with views of the harbor and next to the park which so nice if you travel with your pets. My kids loved walking to get coffee or candy. It is across from the beautiful and historic Holy Childhood of Jesus Catholic Church. We have many beautiful memories of out stay there because it is small and very cozy our family of 6 were together all the time. There is a fold out sleeper sofa in the living area. The price is great and the location superb only 10 minutes from Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob. The owner is very kind and easy to work with!

Great Downtown Rental!

The location of this rental is absolutely perfect! The property is adjacent to a beautiful park and steps from the beach. In addition, it's within easy walking distance (2-5 minutes!) to restaurants, shops, and the pier. We have rented both the upstairs and downstairs units and have enjoyed both. After renting at the Park View House 5 or 6 times, we are convinced that it is a great value.

Great rental. Everything within walking distance. Have rented upstairs and downstairs units many summers. Peaceful mornings on the lower deck. Nice park right out front for the dogs and kids. The beach is steps away. Always clean. Owners are very accommodating.

Great Family Headquarters

Our extended family (3 generations) rented both units in early August. We loved being so close to the beach and downtown. Enjoyed the farmer's market right outside our front door! And were treated to a car show at the park across the street!

Our family stayed in the ...

Our family stayed in the bottom unit for the week of August 15-22, 2009. We loved the location. Everything was in walking distance. It made it very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It is a very quaint unit, not air conditioned, but the fans provided kept things cool. We would definitely stay here again. The church bells rang very early but after the first day you get used to it. I am a morning person, so I didn't really mind it. The owner was very nice. Thanks, Patricia, for holding the unit and calling me to remind me about it! Teri

My best friend, Carol, who grew up spending summers and holidays in the area always told me how beautiful and special this whole area of Michigan is and especially the city of Harbor Springs. So, when I visited in 1996 I learned how true her words are. I thought it would be a wonderful place to spend with family and it is!






Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The location of The Park View House is perfect. It borders the park with the public beach, shops and restaurants, and yet it is private. The views of the park, church and bay are the best of Harbor Springs. It is just a short walk to the dogie beach.
