You can bet that staying here with your family or small group is a 'Shore Thing'. This fantastic coastal retreat enjoys ocean views, a huge new deck and hot tub, as well as all new decor and furnishing throughout.

The entire home was fully remodeled and upgraded. Every piece was curated to provide that perfect blend of coastal style and comfort. The main living and dining area is bathed in natural light through the oversized windows. Whether you want to relax to your favorite show or movie inside or rest outside in the hot tub or at the patio table there is something for everyone here.

When it's time to rest and recuperate, there is a main floor bedroom and full bathroom. As you ascend upstairs, you will find two additional bedrooms and the final full bathroom. One of the upper bedrooms is a traditional bedroom with the en-suite bathroom, while the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds making it perfect for kiddos or young adults.

One of the other highlights of the Shore Thing is the location. It sits just across Inlet Ave. where you are barely two blocks away from 5th Street Beach Access. The Kyllos Restaurant is fabulous and barely one block away as well. You are centrally located to countless adventure options such as the Chinoook Winds Casino, Lincoln City Outlets, and so many more.

This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

The property was excellently maintained and close to the beach. We celebrated my wife's 75th birthday during a terrific storm. We love Pacific storms. The only concern was the three flights of stairs that need to be navigated to enter the property.

Great Location - comfortable stay for the family.

We loved the location. The hot tub was amazing and we used it a lot. The house is very updated and clean. Quick walk to many restaurants and beach also tide pools. The only things that are really not a big deal was the sliding door kept catching and was kind of hard to open. The beds were comfortable just had to get use to plastic mattress protectors. Only suggestions would be for hooks to hang towels on and maybe a different type of mattress protector. The house really is nice with all the amenities you could want. Very nicely decorated. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful Beach House

This house was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. We had a comfortable stay, very close to everything and enjoyed the ocean view from the deck. Will definitely rent again!

Other than being surprised with the number of stairs to climb while recovering from ankle surgery (my bad) the house was great and in a great location.

Great Place to stay

We had a wonderful week in this home! Everything was clean and very welcoming. Perfect location close to the beach. Would definitely recommend this home to a friend. Keep in mind there are a lot of steps to get into the home but we considered it a bonus. Easy to get in your daily steps!!! The balcony offered a great view to the ocean with a hot tub! And the walk to the beach was just a few short blocks.

If you can't do stairs this is not a house for you. There are steep set of stairs from the street to the front door. But isnt too bad. Pack light.

Wonderful place

My family enjoyed our stay, the house had all the basics & we loved the big soft blankets provided for the couch & bedrooms. Things to note: no dishwasher & LOTS of stairs (3 flights) to get up to the house. I know a lot of the places in this area have stairs, it was just a bit of a challenge for a family member with hip issues. Just an FYI.

No privacy

I didn't care for the layout of the house, water not hot enough, no batteries in remotes, and the fire alarm went off second night for no reason waking everyone, very annoying.

Beautiful home near our favorite D River beach!

We’ve been visiting the Shearwater Hotel for years because of the location (near the D River) and the hotel accepted pets…but no longer!! We will absolutely rebook this gorgeous expansive home steps away from the beach access with ample parking and a fabulous deck, complete with a hot tub! This home is well maintained and appointed with everything needed to have a great stay, including a complimentary bottle of wine! I hate leaving this review knowing I’ll be tipping everyone off, but it’s truly a gem and the kids did nothing but rave about it the whole weekend. High praise from tweens and teens!! They even have a Harry Potter “room under the stairs” which the kids got a kick out of. If I could make any suggestion it would be to hang a sign or decor in there (Harry’s room) or something cause both kids wanted their pictures taken in it! Honestly can’t say enough. The description was accurate and showed everything as it comes. Great job!! We loved it!

Lincoln city review

Location and property were very nice, would recommend them again. However, one of the reasons for renting this property was the hot tub. When we got there is was set at 104 but only 88 degrees, very cold. I emailed/texted customer service, they said they would fix on their end. Next morning checked again still 88 and cold. Email again they said they did something on their end and it was fixed. But it wasn’t. Later that afternoon when I emailed again they then stated it was the motherboard and they knew the whole time the hot tub was not working., so they were I fact lying to me the whole time with our conversation back and forth. I should have been notified before checking in with the options of either a different location or the option to cancel. Had I at least known then I could have a decision. I think some sort of refund should be done. I was refunded 70 for the hot tub cleaning that you did not have to do. But this was a big deal and one of the main dying choose this location.

Awful Experience!

My husband and I stayed here for 9 days along with a couple of friends. We experienced the following issues:-the hot tub stopped working the first night due to a storm. No attempts were made to fix it during our stay and we were told there was nothing the property management could due because the owners were unresponsive.-one of the heaters in the living room was broken and blew cold air. No attempts were made to fix it throughout our stay.-the beds are terribly uncomfortable and have plastic mattress covers which make them even worse. The listing says there’s two queens but one is definitely a full size and not big enough for two adults. Because of the size and uncomfortable plastic covered mattresses we took turns sleeping on the couch. The sliding glass door that went out onto the deck was broken and this is the one thing they came and “fixed” by putting soap in the tracks until it opened. The issue with this was that I asked to be informed when the property manager would be coming by and they showed up unannounced and let them selves in. Super frustrating infringement of privacy especially when specifically asked to provide notification. -The cleanliness was not up to normal vrbo standards. There was dried food on the fridge handle. I had to wash the pans before use. Hair on the bathroom towels. Overall one of the worst experiences we’ve had.

Coastal stay

The property listing looked promising. The location seemed awesome between the coast and the lake. It was remodeled and the upgrades were nice but as for comfort i would give it a 2-3/5 because there was one sectional that was semi comfortable and a wooden chair with a cushion. We ended up sleeping on the sectional because the beds were so uncomfortable. All the beds had a plastic covering which added to the discomfort and adding 10 pillows to the mix didn’t help a lot. Was not aware of the 50 give or take steps that lead up to house which was a workout every time. And the updated kitchen was a symphony of alarms reminding you frequently that something needed to be tended to. One of the instructions displayed said limit use of the dishwashe r to once a day but it must have been a joke because there was no dishwasher. At night the street noise sounded like it was inside the house, but as far as the proximity to the beach and restaurants I give it a 9/10. The greatest feature was the hot tub sunken into the deck. It was nice and hot and relaxing and there were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets All that being said I would not stay here again due to the beds. I require a god nights rest
