Honestly, if you Google Blueberry, you will find a fruit that will boost your heart health, your brain function and slow the aging process. We truly believe staying in this house will have the same effect on your health. Blueberry, the house that is, should be considered a very large antioxidant. Inside this lovely mountain cottage style home is filled with comfort, convenience, and charm. Three king beds plus three bathrooms provide lodging perfection. Cooks will enjoy the spacious kitchen and open floorplan. Outside Blueberry is the perfect place to disconnect from day to day and reconnect with nature. Nestled on Maple Lane in the Timberline community, Blueberry offers the perfect place for hiking, biking, and exploring nature. At the end of busy days exploring Canaan Valley, Blackwater Falls, Davis, and Thomas, you can treat yourself to a private sauna and a good night’s sleep. Mountain magic!

Great House, great beds

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great space, nice back deck, new kitchen and baths. The couch was comfy. The kitchen has the essentials. The beds were great. My only complaint is needing better bedside tables and no end tables or desk in living area.

Great Property in a Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are spoiled because we typically visit family for vacation so we don’t have to think about what we bring. This year, we tried someplace new & different, and wound up @ Blueberry in Canaan Balley. Most importantly, the description was accurate and it was CLEAN. We had plenty of towels, nice linens, and comfy furniture to lounge on. We were nicely secluded but also just a quick drive to explore the local area. We had a great horseback ride at Mountain Trail Rides, a fun day exploring the towns of Davis & Thomas , and a trip to Smoke Hole Caverns was great for a hot day. We even got a live glass blowing demo from Glass by Scott. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, the locals were super friendly and had great suggestions to narrow down some of the options. We would absolutely come back again.

Blueberry for the grandparents and the granddaughter

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good stay in the Timberline rental house Blueberry ( May 13-18 ) our three year old granddaughter had a blast fishing at the Wood Pond and Spruce Island Lake. The house is very nice, clean and up to date, plenty of room and space for the 3 of us, nice back deck. Best of Canaan is our go to for our rentals and they are the best. Looking forward for our next visit in October.

Quiet in the woods

If you’re looking for a peaceful nights sleep in the woods, this is the one. Woke up to find deer on the front yard one morning and a flock of turkey in back yard the next morning. Very clean and the photos were accurate. Great location near Blackwater State Park. That being said this is not a luxury property. No Kleenex, no coffee filters, no little shampoos, no hair dryer, no extras. If you think you might need something , you should bring it yourself.. The gas fireplace was disappointing with small blue flames. Water pressure in the beautiful shower was very low. So to sum up. Good property, good mattress, clean, quiet, pretty. But not over the top amenities.

Blueberry mountain getaway

Clean, cozy, and comfortable! Location is close to Timberline and Canaan ski resorts. House was easy to access with no stair entrance from the front, which is great when you have little kids. King size beds in every room were comfortable and tons of closet space throughout the house. Everything is nicely updated. We would stay there again!
