The water is shallow toward shore and gets deeper toward the mouth of the bay. This 788 sq. foot cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and sleeper sofa. All new windows and french doors installed winter 2019. Complete bathroom remodel, new kitchen island, and gas fireplace installed winter 2021 (fireplace available for use Labor Day to Memorial Day) . New tile floor, new baseboard heaters, new barn door, new pocket door, all walls covered in tongue and groove, new dining room table and seating, new side tables, and new dressers winter 2022. It is perfect for a couple or small family getaway.

Large covered porch is facing Lake Huron for breathtaking sunrises, moonrises and lounging on during the day watching the kids or your dogs play on the beach. Two kayaks and three stand up paddle boards are waiting for you to explore our bay. Basketball court and beach volleyball net are ready for fun out of the water. Container of beach toys is on the porch for kids to dig and play in the sand.

You can cook your meals right on the beach in the firepit, on the stove in the kitchen, or on the full sized gas grill behind the cottage. Dine outside on the covered porch or picnic right on the beach. The cottage is less than 10 miles to downtown Alpena for shopping, dining, winetasting, marina, chartered fishing, glass bottom boat tours, and exploring the NOAA maritime museum.
