Kitchen was stocked!

The house is super cute and has a cozy early ’90s vibe that made it feel warm and comfortable. The hosts were kind enough to let us check in early, which we really appreciated, so thank you again for that.The house had everything we needed, and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics, which was a really nice touch. The only thing we would suggest is adding a few more bath towels. We ended up buying some extras during our stay and left them at the house for future guests.The ski area was just under 30 minutes away, which was a little farther than we originally hoped, but overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed our time there.

Massanutten is listed as being 10 miles away in the description, but you’re absolutely right that this distance refers to the main entrance rather than the ski slopes. Since there’s much more to enjoy at Massanutten than just skiing, we didn’t want to assume which activities our guests would be most interested in. Fall weekend getaway

My famuly, sister and parents spent the weekend celebrating my sisters birthday. This was the perfect house to fit our needs for a party of 7. Well organized, super comfy beds, great view, well stocked with everything you will need. We love visiting Shenandoah National Park

Great place to stay near Massanutten and Shenandoah

The house was as listed. It was clean. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen of any rental we have ever stayed in. There’s a closet full of board games for the quiet moments and a shelf full of guide books for figuring out hikes in Shenandoah. Thank you for hosting us.

Perfect for Massanutten trip!

Home was 10 miles from Massanutten, very convenient for our family trip. House is well appointed with dishes, cups, linens, etc to have a comfortable stay. Also, if you're a tea lover, there is a great variety of tea bags which are soothing after being on the cold slopes. Owner was kind in allowing us an early check-in and very responsive! Would absolutely stay again and the neighbors were also very kind. Family restaurant across the street from neighborhood was very convenient although I'd stay away from the pork, either old grease or an off flavor. Our favorite Lavender Farm, White Oak, was only 19 miles away. Very, very convenient to the places we wanted to visit with many restaurants and venues not too far away. Highly recommended!

Not Terrible

Pictures are accurate. The house was conveniently located to all the places we needed to go. The view of the mountains on the porch was beautiful. While this doesn’t reflect the property itself, the neighbors & other areas had political signs out so do with that information as you wish. I would have appreciated getting communication through the app instead of waiting for an email considering we did all our booking in the app. A few suggestions we have: -Need a ramp to get up to the upper floor of the house for those who aren’t necessarily handicapped but it’s challenging to use stairs. - Leave instructions on how to use tv. We could only use the apps on the tv which weren’t live tv options. It would’ve been nice to download our own (YouTube TV) & delete as needed. - Need a Kerig coffee pot. - Need some plug-ins - Handicap bar for shower in hall closet - Headboards for bed - Repair loose floor boards in back bedroom - TVs in bedrooms - update instructions on fireplace. It does not mention that you have to push in the knob to turn it. Overall, it was nice. Some things could’ve been better but it served its purpose. I recommend going to Thunderbird Cafe for brunch!
