It was great but

So the only reason I could not give it 5 stars is because i got a text 4 hours into my trip (almost there) letting me know that the dryer in the unit was not working and when I got there and was ready to hit the bed as soon as I moved the covers back a giant spider crawled out from under the pillow and sheets. That wasn’t a fun welcome. There was also what looked like someone took a poo and it stained in the master bathroom and the door wouldn’t shut at all for the shower so it was half open which wasn’t fun when you would try to shower because it was cold. I had to go to the local shop and buy a whole new wardrobe for my family of 3 because we couldn’t do laundry, something we obviously didn’t plan for and plan on. However when I informed them on what I had to do because this wasn’t fixed prior to arrival they told me to let them know after check out and they would look in to it to give some kind of compensation for my trouble. As of this writing I still have not heard anything or what the plan of action is, and I checked out 4 days ago. Other than those things it was great! My favorite thing about the condo to be honest was that lounge chair on the porch with the ocean view. This is the second time I’ve stayed at Emerald Surf in general and had a bad experience last time so I don’t think I’ll be back to Emerald Surf.

Awesome views

We enjoyed our time staying in this condo. It was perfect location set right on the beach. The only thing that kind of bothered us was the walkway was being built from the condo to the beach so we would have to go to the next property to go to the beach sometimes the gate would be locked and sometimes it wouldn’t But overall a great place.

Emerald Surf Navarre Beach

Our time in the area was great. The unit was fine but we had several issues we needed to reach out to the property manager about. Most were resolved quickly but one took dozens of texts and calls to get resolved. We finally have to involve VRBO to act on our behalf with the property manager.

Amazing view

Great location, quiet and beautiful views from the condo. We enjoyed every minute! I would have given 5 stars for everything but I feel the condo could have been a little cleaner. We will definitely be back!!

Great view and access to beach

This condo is steps from the beach access and pool. It’s technically the first floor, but it sits over a parking garage so you do have to take steps or an elevator. We had three kids and it wasn’t an issue at all and we prefer covered parking. The included beach service chair and umbrellas is a big selling point. We usually stay in Destin and they have gotten so greedy with their beach service and not allowing personal umbrellas close to theirs. This beach was less crowded, but food options are limited. We drove to Pensacola most nights. The only downside of this condo was that it wasn’t the cleanest and did not include any extra toiletries like shampoo or laundry detergent, but would overall stay here again.

Perfect getaway

Perfect place for me and my best friend to getaway and celebrate her retirement. Condo was clean and had zero issues. The beach was perfect and not super crowded. Will stay here again.

Short spring break getaway

The condo was very nice. It had a lot of kitchen items. Maybe need to put some pot holders in the kitchen. The weather was horrible but the condo was nice and cozy.

Wonderful place on Navarre Beach

Great 2/2 on the beach. Beautiful views of the Gulf, heated pool and plenty of room inside incase a rainy day comes. Defined would recommend to anyone.

Great location and very relaxing

Overall it was great. The TVs needed to be set up after someone hsd unplugged them. Lisa was right over to make sure everything was in good working order. Anything that needed addressed was handled professionally with a smole.

Great little getaway!

The condo matched the pictures well. Easy access to restaurants (Andy D’s was our fave!) and groceries. Casual, fairly quiet and laid back - the perfect getaway! We lucked out to see several schools of manta rays (a first and such a thrill!) right at the shoreline for two days, as well as seeing several dolphins. The weather was great. And I lucked out to find several great shells. Loved it and will be back.

Labor Day getaway

We love the area and go yearly. The beach never disappoints. We have stayed at Emerald Surf many times before. It’s much less congested on that end of the beach. Will return next chance.

Very clean and inviting place to relax and enjoy. Manger was quick to respond to questions and needs. Kitchen well stocked. Wished for an ice maker but we purchased ice. Please replace broom as my daughter cut her hand on the handle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Couldn't Be Happier

Perfect location! Our stay was worry free, comfortable & relaxing. The property management company was easy to communicate with, responed quickly to all questions & proactive. Unit had everything we needed & easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Loved this place and would stay again!

Disappointed

Trouble with keypad called 3 times, should of been cleaned better, black bathtub, pictures make it look better as far as size. Was suppose to be on first floor has to climb 2 flights of stairs. We were disappointed considering how much we paid!

I have no complaints about this property. It was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. The view was amazing. The pool was comfortably warm when the beach got too chilly. *One recommendation: Additional seating in the living room would be good since the rental is for up to 7 people.

Fabulous views

Overall great experience. The unit has been recently remodeled in an older building. The views were fabulous - several dolphin sightings right from the balcony! Loved that they had a Keurig! The lock was tricky to figure out at first. The complimentary chair service was a great bonus. Thanks again VRBO for a great experience!!
