Our beautiful 1,000 sq. ft. apartment is in the historic mid-century neighborhood of Olympic Manor, Ballard.
Spacious, private, clean, and cozy, this lower-level apartment is part of our charming home. You'll enjoy private driveway parking & no steps.
This is a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for scenic walks with stunning views of the Olympic Mountains & Puget Sound. It’s an 8-minute drive to downtown Ballard, where you’ll find fantastic restaurants, shops, and vibrant local culture.

Guest access
You’ll have a private entrance and convenient parking, with space for up to two cars—either in our driveway or directly in front of our home. Inside, you’ll find a selection of board games, puzzles, and books, including Seattle guidebooks and maps, to enhance your stay. While the patio offers sweeping views for you to enjoy, please note that it is a shared space.

Olympic Manor is a charming mid-century neighborhood known for its stunning architecture and breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound.

Your Hosts
We live upstairs with our friendly, non-barking Shih Tzu, Koko. While we keep a quiet household and are mindful of our guests, you may hear occasional sounds during meal prep.
We’re happy to offer recommendations or help as needed, and we’ve provided a binder with a curated list of our favorite restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and activities to ensure you make the most of your stay.

Other things to note
The floors between our living room, kitchen, and the apartment are insulated, but you may occasionally hear general sounds from above. We are mindful of our guests and make an effort to tread lightly. There is an in-ground pool on the property that is not available for guest use. However, you’re welcome to relax on our patio and take in the beautiful view. Please note that the patio is a shared space, and you may see us there from time to time

Ballard is a great place to visit - lots of fun shops , restaurants. Nice neighborhood to stroll around. Very quiet at night. Apartment is very roomy. Due to sloping site there’s lots of windows in the main rooms. The main bed was very comfortable. Excellent shower. we were only two so did not try the sofa bed. We would definitely go back here. Hosts were easy to reach - we were very last minute guests, so we appreciated their rapid decision to have us and get instructions to us

Cozy Getaway

We arrived a little late due to some horrible traffic, but were soon very relaxed in this sweet little basement apartment. It was easy to access, clean and perfect for our little family. Lots of books and games to keep us busy. Small little kitchen, but nice as long as you aren’t planning big meals. Sink is a little small to wash dishes, but overall worked fine. Wi-fi worked great, and sleeping arrangements were cozy. Great place to stay!

The apartment is very well-appointed and was a great place to stay when my husband and I came to town to visit family in Ballard and NE Seattle. It was nice to have off-street parking and be assured of a parking spot no matter what time of day we returned. I appreciated the many thoughtful touches provided by the hosts and their thoughtfulness in checking in with us to be sure we were comfortable. I truly wouldn't change a thing and hope it will be available for one of our future trips to Seattle!

Beautiful neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at Ken and Natasha’s. It is bigger than the pics show and extremely comfortable. The bed was really comfy! They had the kitchen stocked with coffee and cream for our mornings. There are lots of books to read, a pool table, 2 large tv’s and a nice bathroom. They were extremely quick and accommodating with all our needs! Will definitely return!

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood

We had a great stay in Natasha and Ken's beautiful apartment. They are gracious hosts and very easy to communicate with. Besides being spotlessly clean and comfortable, the apartment had everything we needed and more. It had plenty of room for entertaining our little granddaughter, and the kitchen was thoughtfully equipped for cooking our simple meals. Certainly the highlight for my husband and son was getting to play pool together in the evenings. We are very happy to have found this place and hope to stay again next time we return to Ballard!

This property was perfect for our visit to see family in Ballard. Everything was as described and the location was very convenient. The fresh flowers, chocolate bar and coffee were so appreciated! It’s a nice property in a very nice neighborhood. Within walking distance to a few amenities or public transportation if wanted. If you like to play billiards then there is a table. The owners provided everything stated in the listing and there were no surprises. Overall we were very pleased with the location and place provided.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The place was cozy, clean, comfortable, and larger than we expected (rare for online interpretation of hotel/apartment sizing). There were several board games available for us/our kids to play and coffee on hand, too (my wife was particularly happy about that nice little touch)! Natasha, the host, responded to our inquiries right away and was very helpful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet but convenient to downtown Ballard, the beach, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Best sleep of our life

Thoughtful touches, such as cold beverages, coffee/tea, and tasty chocolate greeted us upon arrival. I messed up our arrival date and Tasha saved us a late drive and awkward situation w her prompt and kind response. :) We stayed for four nights and had the best time. The furniture was comfortable, the bed exceptionally comfortable (like laying down in a supportive hug), and plenty of linens. We cooked a lot and didn’t feel the lack of stove/oven. (We brought our French press and induction-friendly Bialetti from home.)Cool mid-century details, like the basement intercom system, highlight the history of the house and architecture throughout the neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood, great walking, minutes drive to Ballard…great place, great experience. We’ll definitely be back.

The perfect spot for me!!!!

I have hometown Gainesville Georgia friends across the street in Seattle from this wonderful accommodation . In addition to the location that is ideal ,the property is on the mark….comfortable bedding, nice bright bathroom, inviting cozy living room with a real tv with real tv stations , none of that roku or streaming stuff that I cannot figure out. The kitchen has every everything to make a meal with but remember you are in Seattle ….FOOD MECCA! And from this location any type of food you desire is not that far. Now here’s the good part….Natasha,Ken and Ed (their 15 yo shitzu) are the warmest hosts. If you need Natasha , she will be available to you ….trust me on this! As a solo, senior citizen traveler knowing they were upstairs meant everything. They are quiet as mice but I loved hearing sweet little Ed a time or two ….think he had the zoomies! If you are in need of lodging while in Seattle and this listing is available book it! You will not be disappointed. Thanks y’all and Go Dawgs!

This house is in a historic neighborhood in Seattle-Olympic Manor in Ballard. The homes are all mid century with sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound. In December, most houses decorate and it is a city wide destination to view holiday decor-it's really amazing.
