"Pine Tree Point” cottage is located directly on Buck Lake with full privacy on both sides of the 1.5 acre property. It's fully insulated for year-round enjoyment on a year round road. It has 3 bedrooms, large dining table, a roomy and comfy sectional couch and recliner chairs with a view that will take your breath away. With both a sandy swimming area and a private point with dock, the property boasts 633 feet of gorgeous shoreline. Fifteen minutes to Huntsville. Excellent Wi-Fi. (Starlink). The town of Huntsville is a 15-minute drive along Muskoka Road #2 and has all necessary amenities including 3 grocery stores, a liquor store, a mall, a quaint downtown for shopping and great restaurants. The cottage is located on a country road steeped in history - and adjacent to a small area called Ilfracombe, founded in the 1800s by farmers looking to clear the land. There is a large stone church at the top of the hill and plenty of walking roads that take you past original log cabins, converted school houses and sleepy cemeteries! A public beach and boat launch is a bit further down the road. A 1/2 hour kayak ride down a nearby windy river off the lake will take you to a beautiful waterfall. Winter activities abound with surrounding ski hills and cross country and skating trails.

Pine Tree Point is a serene and private cottage. With 650ft of frontage on Buck lake in a private bay offering incredible views all year round. It is conveniently located 17 min from the town of Huntsville which offers many restaurants, breweries and shopping options.

What makes this property unique

Pine Tree Point cottage sits 30 ft from the lapping waves of Buck Lake. It features a beautiful sandy bay plus a rocky pine point with deep water for swimming. With tons of privacy, the closest cottages are across the lake. There is a beautiful winding river off the south end of the lake that will take you to a beautiful waterfall. Set in an historic area called "Ilfracombe", the road is dotted with original log cabins, converted school houses, and a turn-of the century church up on the hill.
