Perfectly situated in the middle of town near major Marfa attractions, MOTEL is a thoughtful, multi-year adobe renovation spearheaded by craftsman, Jantzen Matzdorff, with design by renowned design firm McCray & Co., this is the latest in a series of successful projects together. Their previous work has been featured in Tribeza, Domino, and GQ. Together they created this original boutique hotel almost exclusively with vintage and custom finishes while honoring the original structure.

Miguel’s Auto Garage is an industrial gem. This stand-alone building at the iconic MOTEL is a 630-square foot loft, perfect for two guests for a short or long stay that provides the space for you to feel inspired and ponder your next creation. Updated from its auto garage roots, gorgeous morning light floods in through the massive door that opens to a private patio with fire pit and chairs for stargazing. The open format large living room area is comfortable luxury juxtaposed with industrial fixtures to create a dynamic and comfortable feeling.
The lofted bedroom is separated from the rest of the space by industrial stairs yet connected through a thoughtful pass-through bookshelf. The custom bed features a plush queen mattress with luxury sheets to ensure a good night's rest. The vintage art, custom furniture, and industrial decor in this room are a collaboration between McCray & Co. and Jantzen Matzdorff.
Boasting a kitchen that was meticulously designed to allow the efficient space to be used for professional pop-up cooking events with indoor and outdoor seating; this suite can also be the anchor for a complete MOTEL takeover.
The shared courtyard is decked out with a beautiful fountain, dedicated dining area for dining al fresco, and a large outdoor fireplace to unwind under the stars. A custom BBQ grill adds to the charm for guests looking to grill and gather. The private spa-like outdoor tub area "Oasis" is reservable via QR code and features a vintage clawfoot tub. The shared sauna and cold plunge offer a one-of-a-kind relaxation experience in Marfa.
Guests also have access to high-speed internet and an EV charger located in the shared parking area—just bring your adapter to plug in with ease.

Please note that while we strive to provide our guests with an enjoyable pool experience, the availability of the amenities may be subject to unforeseen circumstances such as maintenance, cleaning, seasonality or other issues beyond our control.
⭐Seasonal Pool Availability: Please note that the complimentary pool passes for the Saint George Hotel are unavailable during winter. The pool is only open seasonally.
We’ll provide you with access information before you arrive. There is ample amount of street parking and a parking lot on property. If you’d like recommendations for Marfa we are happy to help! After booking you'll be provided a link where you can purchase upgrades to your booking such as additional cleanings, early check-in and late check-out. Security cameras are located in the common area to ensure safety of the property and to give guests a peace of mind.

1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance
3) No events or parties.
4) Feel free to inquire about bringing your dogs along. We allow a maximum of (1) one small dog weighing 35 lbs or less. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted. There is a one-time pet cleaning fee of $85. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a dog so we can prepare the necessary cleaning supplies to eliminate allergens before the next guest arrives. If we do not receive notice at least 48 hours before your check-in, the fee will be $105. While staying with us, dogs must be crated when left alone, should not climb on furniture, and must not be left outside unattended. Owners are responsible for any damages caused.
5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it

7) If you do not check out on time (10AM) you will be charged an additional night
