  • Perfect Introduction to the West

"Marfa Loft was exactly as pictured...and somehow still even better in person. The location has got to be the best spot in town being right in the middle of everything, yet somehow still secluded by nature with our very own private oasis feel. David was the perfect host. He introduced himself upon our arrival and gave us great advice on what to do and where to go, especially when it came to the food portion of Marfa. The property was clean and very well maintained. The Loft itself we could have stayed in all day! Very spacious...especially that amazing shower. We also really enjoyed having our own private balcony surrounded by nature-coffee outside in the morning and a nightcap in the evening! We walked nearly everywhere a few times a day and saw the entire town. The views from the clerestory windows were also unexpected...loved viewing the silent industrialness of the older buildings on one side and tree covered windows on all of the others. Visually relaxing yet mindfully stimulating! We are now spoiled by David's Loft - can't imagine coming to a place like Marfa and staying in a hotel with other people around you. This trip and loft was exactly what we were looking for...privacy and relaxation, yet steps to everything else when we wanted it. We will definitely be back and we will most definitely stay at Marfa Loft! Thanks for introducing me to the West proper!! -Karen R."

  • Great location, lovely owners.

"We absolutely loved Marfa. Our casita was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was clean, and welcoming. We were able to walk to the galleries and shops and many restaurants. It is a quick ride to the Chinati Foundation and walking distance to the Judd Family in town tours. Kaci and Michael live next door and were helpful suggesting highlights of town. They invited us to use the backyard for grilling or sitting around the fire pit. They also welcomed us to join them. The casita is a one bedroom, one bath home with a fairly large kitchen. We found coffee for the first night and on request Kaci supplied us with more for the rest of our stay. Nice people."

  • Highly Recommend the Marfa Guest House

"I stayed at the Marfa guest house with a group of 7 and we had a fantastic time. The house was plenty large to fit our group, was filled with nice amenities and was extremely comfortable. Only great things to say. If you are heading to Marfa, I highly recommend you stay at the Guest House."
