  • A perfect retreat on the quiet edge of town

"Loved our 3 nights at the Windmill Retreat! Such a relaxing spot to come home to after time at the Marfa Myths festival. We loved sitting on the porch watching the weather roll past in the distance. Also pleased to say that while the middle-of-the-night trains are an unavoidable part of Marfa, the Windmill Retreat was at enough of a distance that the noise wasn't a problem. Thanks so much for sharing your home, we look fwd to returning."

  • Marfa is a nice getaway. Quiet and slow paced

"The Casa was great . With in walking distance to the square, comfortable and cozy. The only thing I would add is a small microwave to warm up leftovers. Ash the owner was very friendly and helpful."

  • This property is absolutely enchanting.

"This property is absolutely enchanting and true to West Texas beauty. Its porches allow for sun in the morning when you want a little heat on your toes and coffee in your hands, and a cool, shady breeze in the evening with a sunset view when you're holding a cold one. The amenities are perfect; nothing missing that we needed. The bedrooms are comfortable and the sheets and towels are heavenly. We had three kids and three adults and fit perfectly. The boys (two of them) loved the "hideout cellar" and spent a fair amount of time down there. Our daughter browsed the plentiful art books, and we all spent time in the wonderfully comfy sitting room, thoughtfully stocked with soft pillows and blankets to offset the soft, cushy, but naturally chilled leather sofa cushions. Town is a good walk away past the high-school, which makes the Marfa street glow diminish for unreal star-gazing. And we caught a Marfa High School six-man football game for a true Friday Night Lights experience in small town West Texas. It was an enchanting stay. I would go back in one heart-beat."
