Get away from it all and enjoy the serene and private surroundings that this house has to offer. Kick back and take in the breathtaking views of Santa Cruz, the ocean, a beautiful sunset followed by the twinkling of city lights at night. Enjoy all that Santa Cruz has to offer with just a short drive (less than 10 mins) to downtown. We offer a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, a very comfortable king size bed. There is a security camera on the front deck looking over the driveway. Tell me a little bit about yourselves and what you are looking for your time in Santa Cruz.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay and enjoyed the comforts of the cabin. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed star gazing at night. A perfect place to retreat and unwind.

The property was great ! It was even better than pictures. On our last day the neighbors dog happy came over to say bye which really wrapped the end of our stay there on a great note.

The stay was fantastic, quiet and peaceful area. Close to the city but far away from the noise and traffic. If you’re looking for birdwatching in the porch and the occasional deer sighting, with a nice view of the ocean in the distance, this is the place for you. Owner was very swift when solving a problem for me and keeping the stay perfect for us. I will be staying here again for sure, great property and great people.

Beautiful views and lovely place! We enjoyed a restful time and loved seeing and hearing so many birds! Comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom, and plenty of windows for views and fresh cool air.

Peaceful coastal stay

Our overall trip to Santa Cruz was one for the books, and our stay up in the mountains was quite pleasant. Nice and close to town, ocean views from the porch, and tons of wildlife. Easy peasy stay, definitely recommend.

Private and clean!

Location was close to downtown Santa Cruz - 10 minute drive. Very clean and very private. Everything was easy and we loved our stay!

Santa Cruz in the trees

We had an amazing stay here up in the trees. The unit was clean, stocked with towels and the check in was easy. Views from both decks were beautiful and relaxing, we will definitely be returning!

Nice and secluded, great view

Lots of communication, easy check in. Quiet, beautiful views. Comfortable, great for a couple, slept really well on the king bed. We enjoyed Happy the friendly dog’s visits! Would definitely come back.

A Stay with a View

Very comfortable place for us. It had a view of Monterey Bay in the distance. Isolated in the hills but so close to town. Quite enjoyable.

Peaceful and serene

We loved the atmosphere and surroundings of the trees and wildlife. We enjoyed watching the birds and saw owls. The house has everything you need. We want to come back and stay longer.

Elegant and comfortable hillside retreat

My husband and I spent the weekend enjoying trees, tranquility, and ocean air while staying in this lovely rental. The hosts were welcoming and communicative. The Shakespeare festival, downtown Santa Cruz, and Henry Cowell state park were the other ingredients in a fabulous getaway weekend.

Exactly what we wanted

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. Had really great views. Perfect location being just outside of the city with much to do! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Tom was very responsive to any questions. "Buddy" the next door dog was also great plus when he came to visit.

Love This Place!

Our stay was Wonderful! Better than I would have imagined. Quiet and Peaceful, Beautiful Views, Clean and well stocked. Everything was just as it said, well, ....better. Thank you for the opportunity to stay there. We will be back and we'll tell our friends.
