Amazing Twin Lakes Beach Views

The Yellow Beach Cottage is a darling cottage with accommodations for 6. The cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. There is a separate TV room that contains a queen-size bed. There is one full bath with a walk-in shower. There is also a nice full kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

The Yellow Beach Cottage is located at one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz and is within walking distance to numerous restaurants. Most importantly, the cottage has an amazing large deck that takes full advantage of the spectacular ocean view.

Great location

Loved this cottage! Perfect location for beach time, boardwalk fun, and relaxing on the deck. Great spot for family vacation.

Best ocean and beach view

This is just the best place for beach access, views of ocean and beach and fantastic sunsets. Easy six block walk to good restaurants at the harbor.

Wonderful Quiet Cottage

This is our second time staying here and my family loves it! The kitchen is well stocked and the view is wonderful!

Twin Lakes cottage

The stay was great. Right next to the beautiful beach and harbor. House was terrific. Parking could be tight. Balcony view was awesome. Good location. Great accommodation.

Beautiful house in a perfect Beach location.

The house was clean, kid friendly and well maintained. The layout made it easy to enjoy time together as a family but also have privacy if needed. The views and access to the beach were stunning. Amazing location and amazing house. Highly recommend.

Lovely Home

We enjoyed our visit to this lovely home. It was a joy to be so close to the beach and the attention to detail within the home made it feel very intentional and high quality. The only thing that I would want others to know that although this home faces the gorgeous shore it also backs up to a very busy street and there was considerable traffic noise from 7am - 7pm. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note.

Wonderful beach house

We loved everything, the house was very clean, well stocked,we cooked and bbq. We enjoyed the beautiful view from a large deck and easy access to the beach. Amazing views from living room, dining room and master bedroom. We give it a 5+ on everything and will be back this summer. Highly recommend it. Our stay was from February 23 thru 25th Aida

Great cottage right overlooking Twin Lakes

Nicely updated and decently stocked rental. Amazing views of the beach and literally just steps from the beach. The deck is optimized for the beautiful views with adirondack chairs, a table with umbrella and recliners.The cottage is clean and with 2 parking spots in the alley behind. Only nit are the beds are older and could use updating, but everything else about the rental was great. The host was also very communicative and responsive when we had some questions or issues.

Making Memories!

My family stayed in this charming house, and it was better than we hoped. We had everything we needed, plenty of space for four of us and convenient parking. The views from the deck were spectacular and the beach and harbor close enough to walk to. Very comfortable and clean and great place to make memories! The owner Tim was very responsive and made sure everything was in order. Highly recommend!

Graduation Weekend

We booked this place on the weekend my daughter was graduating from UCSC. Real cute cottage! Loved the view of the beach! Had everything we needed. Wished we could of stayed longer. Only issue was parking my Toyota Tundra - had to maneuver to fit in space - not a prob for mod size suvs . Thank you for a memorable stay!

So Peaceful

We stayed here for 5 days and loved it. It is very welcoming and has everything you need. We cooked a little and this place had all the essentials for coffee and even EVVO. The beds were super comfortable and we were able to do laundry and spend a lot of time with our family. CA had unprecedented storms and cold the entire time we were there, but we made use of the puzzles and games. The view was still great and we wish we could have spent any time on that wonderful porch.

Good but not great

Cleanliness could have been better. Refrigerator was not clean and trash remained in the trash can. Couch had some trash between cushions. Bathrooms are really tight on space. King sized bed was a little too big for the room and a little lumpy. The location was fantastic.

Incredible Beach Getaway

My wife, 5 year old daughter, and I stayed at this property and we could not have asked for a better place to spend a long weekend at the beach! The location and short walk down the stairs to the beach was perfect for our family. The view from the deck is absolutely gorgeous. The house was tastefully appointed, kitchen was beautiful and contained everything we needed, the bedrooms were nice with comfortable beds, and the internet was fast. We really appreciated the private parking spots, and my wife and I can't stop talking about how gorgeous the views were. We had no complaints at all and plan to visit again in the future. My only note is the location might not be ideal for someone with difficulty climbing stairs if you plan on spending time on the beach, however anyone would find it easy to enjoy the view from the deck, regardless of mobility restrictions.

Great location, great home, we had a blast!

Tim has a beautiful cottage, fully updated in a fabulous location. Just a few steps to the sand and ocean this was a great place for us to stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need, just bring your food and drinks, Nice flooring, wall of windows facing the surf, open floor plan, big dining table. Main bedroom with king and second bedroom with two twins that can be pushed together. Back bedroom has tv and comfy pull out bed. It was really comfortable which I was not expecting. Bathrooms were fully updated. We will make this our spot in Santa Cruz.

Perfect location

The house is a bit dated, and be aware that there is no AC…. But we came in the height of summer and it wasn’t a problem. But really, you’re renting this place for it’s location & that was perfection. Everyone in our party (ranged from 3 to 73) was able to get up and down the rock path which is steps from the front door! The owner was great to communicate with & we had an absolute blast! Parking in SC can be a nightmare and renting this place gave us 4 spots (2 in the back of the house and 2 we took at 6am when they were empty). Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful View

Our stay was just about perfect. The weather cooperated with rain only during our day of our departure. The gas fireplace is wonderful in the chilly weather. Beach access was a a little further than we expected but due to the storms this winter there was a lot of water so we couldn't walk down the closest trail to the cottage. The beds are all very cozy! Three bedrooms but no couch bed. TV s worked great, but I brought my fire stick anyways. Fully stocked with laundry and dishwashing detergent, fancy hand soap, sponges, toilet paper, paper towels even some spices. Could use a teapot to boil water but there are many different pots and pans. Bring your own beach towels. Outside on the side of the cottage there is a storage bend with beach chairs one umbrella and a couple boogie boards which are all in good shape. Beach boardwalk just down the street. Great vacation!

Relaxing

Cute cottage Calming ocean sounds Comfortable bed with a view Convenient parking in the alley behind home Access to the beach from the home is not as convenient as anticipated. I had a 4 year old with me and it was challenging walking across large and jagged boulders to get to the beach or the alternative is walking along the side of the road with busy traffic.

Fantastic East Cliff beach front property w/ amazing view!!

Great location with easy access to Twin Lakes Beach! We had an amazing time - loved that we could come back from the beach, relax on the huge deck and continue to enjoy the views from sunrise to sunset. Also loved being so close to Seabright Beach, Santa Cruz Harbor, East Cliff Village, Pleasure Point, etc. We also appreciated the short distance to the Boardwalk, Pier/Wharf, West Cliff & Natural Bridges where we enjoyed additional fun activities and beautiful views! Tim was super communicative, pleasant to work with and fantastic with his follow-up through the entire process from booking to check-out. Thanks and we've already referred this property to family & friends! :)
