Enjoy this quaint 1bedroom, 1bathroom with waterfront views. Our condo features a king bed with a full bathroom, including a whirlpool tub and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
The open concept living space, entails a kitchenette with a mini fridge, stovetop with 2 burners and a microwave.
And don't forget to enjoy the balcony as the boats sail in and out of Round Lake.
It's everything you need for a weekend getaway!
The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, or extended vacation. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.
Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 48 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Beautiful view!

Charlevoix is my favorite Michigan city, and this is the best place I've ever stayed! The view was amazing; the decor was soothing; the place was well appointed.

Located Close to Everything

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Charlevoix and really enjoyed the view of Round Lake and watching the boats go by. We were able to walk to everything, restaurants, shops and the park. Walking down the channel we were able to get to the beach as well. The condo was in great shape very clean and well appointed. We had a very relaxing stay.

Awesome location

Great location. Only complaint is the hallway light that goes into the bedroom window. The condo overall was nice and clean, just an odd setup with the bedrooms for they have a huge window that looks into a hallway and not the condos hallway, the main hallway for the whole building. So, there was no way to turn those lights off.

Reviewer Comments: The view of around Lake is unbeatable, but the lakeside bed is concave and the kitchen equipment is embarrassing— three unmatched wine glasses for example. The unit should be inspected after every occupancy and the bed fixed, etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Edgewater for a friend’s wedding. It was the perfect location for us. It was literally right in downtown. We could walk everywhere without having to pay for parking. It was so nice to be able to sit on the balcony and watch boats go by. The room was very clean, we could adjust the temperature and it actually worked unlike most places, and the room was spacious enough. We utilized the pool and hot tub. Everything and everyone was great! We would definitely stay here again if we come to Charlevoix.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I knew that there would be construction, so I was not able to go out to the balcony. I would like to visit again when construction is not an issue and can enjoy the entire experience. Some of the utensils need to be replaced because they are starting to rust and you need to include scrub pads for the pans since they are crusty with previous peoples cooking. The rest of the place was very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only recommendation for the room we had is that the kitchen did not have enough utensils to properly cook. The recommendation for the property is to continue with internal update and maintenance. The outside is beautiful but the inside needs a bit more updates and maintenance. The air conditioner in the work out room didn't work. The drains in the bottom of the hot tub were covered with grates that moved completely off so at times the drains were completely exposed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in need of updating. Everything seems to be 30-40 years old. The carpet needs replacing along with the wood floor which is delaminating. There was a stain on the upholstered furniture. The kitchen has only the basics - cheap silverware, few utensils, and they’re was’t a corkscrew. Unit had an unusual smell, like maple syrup. The best feature was the view of the lake.

The view here is to die for, just incredible, location is great, giving a real feel for the rhythm of Charlevoix.The condo we stayed in was clean and in good repair, but a dated. The bathtub/shower was an old large whirlpool tub and not difficult to get in and out of. If anyone has mobility issues they would struggle with this. The exterior has some updates that look nice, however the interior of the property needs an overhaul. The hallways, pool and workout room all show their age and are not inviting. Disappointed that the restaurant had closed, next to the view it was best feature of the property. Hopefully interior updates are in the works, because as I said the view/location is great.

There were a couple things that could use improvement. 1) room service NEVER replaced our toliet paper and Kleenex which was completely out!. When we got back to the room it was late, the front desk was closed and we had to go find a store that was open to get some.Our towels were replaced but nothing else. I couldn't believe that.2) The back deck that overlooks the water would have been a great spot to sit in the evenings however the spiders and spider webs were out ofco trol!! I counted a minimum of 13 huge spiders coating the doorwall and hanging down from the wood outside. NO WAY you could sit out there!That area should be sprayed and cleaned as well.We heard the couple below us complaining about the spiders as well!

Wasn’t what we expected

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room/condo was clean and well maintained. The problem was that when we booked we asked for a specific room (we knew the owner) and it was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. We were told that we were booked for that room. When we arrived we learned we were not in the room we requested and told we would be in. Instead we were in a 1 bedroom 1 bath and there were 5 of us. Management did nothing to compensate for this mistake on their part. The room we were in said it sleeps 4 but there were only 3 towels. When we requested more they would only give us 3 more towels. We needed extra bc the pool that was advertised as heated, was not heated at all rather it was absolutely freezing and there were no towels stocked for use so we had to use ours from the room. Nice room but poor management/communication on room expectations and don’t advertise a heated pool if it isn’t heated.

Reviewer Comments: Weve stayed here before in different units, and this was by far the worst one weve experienced. The bedroom was bright all night due to the hallway being lit, all doors and windows were unlocked when we got there, giving a non-secure feeling. The couchs and chairs were old and broken down, making them super uncomfortable. Last, the hours of the hot tub and pool were garbage. Unable to do anything during the day and then relax in the evening because it was already closed.
