Stunning view!

Apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were close to a Tram stop and we were able to easily get.to Old Nice, Nice Ville train station and the Airport. Very quiet building and Susanah being onsite was helpful. Thanks, Marcella, for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Unbelievable. I was really helpful with Christine. Even after her departure because we sent her back a pair of Gucci shoes that she had forgotten. In return I received a 2-star review, never received before. Because for Christine the Promenade des Anglais and my air conditioner are too noisy. Keep in mind that in June there was an abnormal heat with a lot of humidity. And the air conditioners turned on to the maximum have strained. To some people, the more you give, the more you receive in return badness. But I'm sure there's a Karma.

Comfortable and Convenient

An excellent location for an extended stay in Nice area. Grocery store around corner ,tram immediately behind the building, Very easy access to the beach across the street and walking path along the beach. A small but lovely terrace facing the sea. Space very comfortable for a small family, a couple and younger children. Bunkbeds a bit tight for adults and possibly older children. The owner and Susana the local contact were most helpful and accomodating. Would stay there again if in Nice area

We had a nice stay. The property is everything we expected as we have stayed on the promenade de anglais before. It is a noisy street but the unit has double doors so when they are closed it is very quiet. We love being right across from water. There is a washing machine and drying rack outside which was handy, hang drying is very common in France don’t expect a dryer in most places. Susana the building manager was lovely she got us set up with the parking spot which was very convenient and loaned us beach towels. There’s a grocery store right next door too. The ‘second bedroom’ is a bunk bed in a large closet area so is great for kids our son thought it was fun.

Marsha was a terrible guest. Very disrespectful and irritating. She never replied to my messages to know the time of her arrival. I had to contact customer service. I managed to get in touch with her via text message the day before. She said she arrived at 2 pm, instead she arrived at 5:30 pm without giving any communication, without respect for anyone. The apartment was perfectly clean, with supply of toilet paper, coffee capsules and dishwasher for the first day. If you needed extra toilet paper or had found the sheets dirty (????) You could just tell me. My caretaker lives there and would have done what was necessary to please her. As for the sofa bed. It is absolutely forbidden to open and use it! It is absolutely not old, in fact it has been completely redone this year. But I don't offer the sofa bed service! It is forbidden to open it and use it as a bed! For guests over 2 there is a small room with a bunk bed. For reservations of only 2 people, as in this case!, only the provision of sheets for the double bed is provided. In the event that Marsha had informed me of her need to sleep separately from the second guest, I would have her find a bunk bed with sheets ready. Guests like Marsha are just a nuisance, and they are absolutely not truthful and fair in their reviews! This is a big flaw in the review system! Absolutely not reliable!

Perfect Spot

This place was perfect! Close to shops and restaurants but away from the noise of a lot of people. Just cross the street and walk the promenade either way. There’s a grocery store around the corner (not discovered soon enough) and a great boullaingerie and patisserie diagonal to the store on block behind building.. Will definitely be back!!

Beautiful view of the sea from this apartment. Caretaker was also very responsive and helpful to our needs. My only critiques are, there should be a renter welcome booklet - with WiFi code, and some basic info for visitors such as closest grocery stores, pharmacy, and info on how to access the train. We were very confused about how to take the train into old town Nice for our tours. I would have appreciated some newer towels as well, they were very scratchy.

Fantastic location & Beautiful property

Marcella met us upon our arrival and was very accommodating. The property has beautiful views of the Mediterranean with balcony access from the living room and bedroom, and has everything you will need while staying there. The building is gated with additional security door entrances so we felt very safe. We were able to buy groceries (1 block), fresh bread and pastries (3 blocks) and there are abundant restaurants close by. Old Town Nice was our favorite for dinners and night life. It is in a great location with easy access to both bus and train station. We loved walking on the promenade and taking in the beauty of Nice. It is perfectly located between Cannes, Eze and Monaco. Our many thanks to Marcella and the property staff for making our trip memorable!

Nice location but very poor appartment in poor maintenance conditions with very poor beds

2 of 4 beds were in a closet and of very poor quality. When we arrived the roller shutter did not work which we pointed out and a reparation was promised but nothing happened! Towels were amazing small and not useable after a shower. We cannot recommend other people to stay in the appartment

it's the first time that write me something like that! my beds and my mattresses are all of high quality. the second bedroom is small and is built behind sliding mirror doors, exactly as pictured !!!! so no surprise! each customer is given a bathrobe, a face towel, a bidet towel. if you have special needs, please contact me. I'm sorry that the shutter has been blocked a few centimeters lower. Unfortunately I was not in place to unlock. It is an exceptional event that never happens. it is strange that in your considerations you have not taken all the rest into account. Fully equipped apartment, two air conditioners, balcony with sea and beach view, great location just minutes from everything, bicycles and buses under the house, glass shower cubicle, concierge available on site all day. wifi included free

Wonderful!

Just got back home after staying for 12 wonderful days on the Promenade des Anglais. Marcella's apartment was just perfect and in a perfect location. We walked everywhere, took the bus to Cannes and an Uber to Monaco (know that you can take an Uber to Monaco, but cannot get an Uber back to Nice). We also had a nice lunch in Villefrench. We did not get the chance to meet Marcella, but Susanna and her husband took care of all of our needs. Maybe next time (and there will be a next time) will will meet. All-in-all, this was a wonderfully relaxing vacation on the French Riviera. We have visited many places in Europe and have enjoyed them all. When I suggest going back to any one of them, my wife always says "There's a big world out there. Let's go somewhere else". Last night I asked her if she would like to go back to Marcella's place in Nice? She said "absolutely!". Thanks Very Much. Kind Regards, Mike & Gabe

Incredible Apartment; Great Owner/Manager

My wife and I stayed for a week here. Before, during and after the visit, Marcella was nothing but a pleasure to work with. She was quick and responsive, both with emails and with texts. In addition to being highly professional, she was cheerful and pleasant, and we look forward to staying in touch with her going forward, and also to staying in this property again if we return to Nice. The property itself is in an ideal location, with a direct view of the ocean and coastline in both directions. This part of the Promenade des Anglais is walkable to all the key points of Nice, or it is well-located for buses and taxis/Ubers if you don't want to walk. That said, it is a few blocks off the busiest part of the Promenade, so it's quieter at night. The apartment is very much as advertised in the posting -- we were very comfortable here. The best parts of the apartment for us included: (1) room-darkening metal shades; (2) fluffy robes; (3) a small kitchen that was fully functional and allowed for cooking beyond just reheating; (4) the generously sized balcony that we used for sea-gazing every day; and (5) the quiet and peacefulness of the building. Bottom line -- a great place to stay in Nice for the two of us. Five stars!

Superbe location

L’appartement était très beau et idéalement situé pour profiter de la plage. Il y a des commerces a proximité et l’arrêt de tram est juste à côté. Très pratique pour se déplacer. Un grand merci à la gardienne Susana pour son aide précieuse et sa gentillesse. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour aussi grâce à elle !

L’appartement est bien placé à 50 m de la plage, 50 m d’un supermarché et 100 m station de tramway. Dommage pour le balcon qui est très petit et sur lequel on entend beaucoup la circulation. Mais apparemment très bien insonorisé une fois les fenêtres fermées. Je recommande pour les amoureux de la plage.

J’ai séjourné dans la location de Marcella avec ma mère, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la propreté irréprochable de l’appartement, la vue panoramique qu’offre le balcon, même si parfois il y’avait beaucoup de bruit en cette période estivale pour s’installer sur le balcon, nous en avons bien profité le matin comme le soir et le double vitrage permet de s’isoler complètement du bruit une fois a l´interieur. L’appartement est idéalement situé, près de tous les coins à visiter et très proche de la gare ce qui nous a permis de visiter très facilement les environs de Nice, la cuisine est très fonctionelle et très bien équipée. L’ensemble de l’appartement est décoré avec charme. Enfin, Suzana la concierge de l’immeuble a été très serviable et disponible à 100%. Merci.

L accueil était bien. Lors de notre entrée on nous a signalé que la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas bien quand il faisait chaud. La Tv ne fonctionnait pas Ensuite la propreté, les étagères étaient noires et grasses, le divan sale, le tapis pleins de tâches, des longs longs cheveux ou poils noirs partout… Le congélateur était plein de givre avec des anciennes choses dedans. Le garage n est même pas dans l immeuble. Je ne recommande surtout pas et la propriétaire est de mauvaise fois.

Watch out for this guest!!!!! He entered the apartment. After 3 days he sent a video of a oily substance in the closet that he probably put himself! The air conditioning is fully functional! The TV and Wi-Fi are perfectly functional!!! I even offered to send him the cleaning lady at my expense!!! He returned the keys and left the next day probably because his plans had changed!!! He wrote to me to reimburse him for the stay threatening to leave a negative review! Attention !!!!!! Incorrect and bad faith guest!

Nice location, but very noisy

This apartment has great views, but it sit on the front with six lanes of constant traffic although the double patio doors blocked out all sound when closed. The tram runs along the street at the back from the airport right into the town which is brilliant, there is also a great supermarket and patisserie on the same street. There was a couple of apartments being renovated this began early morning, so much for a restful break. The bed was really uncomfortable propped up with a pile of magazines and it definitely hasn't been cleaned under the bed for a long time, the pillows also need replacing. The cupboards are full of random stuff, this would be better if it were put in one cupboard and locked away if the owner wants to keep it. The apartments well equipped but we cleaned everything we were using first as there was lipstick marks on a couple of glasses. The Wi-Fi didn't always work and the tv was limited with channels. It is a beautiful walk along the promenade and there are seats to stop and take in the view. There's a bus stop at next block which goes to Cannes and other resorts, the train was also easy to do visits to Villefranche and Monaco. We really enjoyed Nice but would find a quieter area to stay.

Fantastic location

To illustrate….. The airport tram stops but a few metres away from the apartment. There is a Carrefour on the corner of the block. Great views from the balcony. The walk along the prom to old Nice is beautiful (not for nothing is it called the Cote d’Azur) Old Nice with its warren of shops and restaurants is lovely. The Trompe d’oeil on the buildings in Garabaldi Square are impressive and make you doubt yourself. The views from Castle Nice (elevator up, walk down!) are very impressive. Maybe the apartment is looking a little tired, but currently the above list weighs so much in its favour that all is forgiven.

Amazing location, amazing views, apartment as described.

The big pluses are the location, the views and the fact that the apartment was as described, no nasty surprises. The apartment was reasonably well equipped and generally in good decorative order. Yes,the road is noisy but close the double glazed windows and the noise stops. A couple of niggles. Firstly the television kept losing the signal (after working OK for about a day) and required the concierge to reset it. We did this several times but gave up in the end. Secondly, the bath and hand towels were well past their use by dates, looking a little sad. That was a shame as other items such as bath robes looked brand new. Finally, there was a large amount of someone's personal stuff in several cupboards and drawers. We have rented a number of properties in the last few years and have not come across this before. It made us feel as if we were intruding in someone's home. Our experience is that the owners usually pack these items up and put them in a locked cupboard. And finally, finally a word of thanks to Susana, the concierge. She was very helpful and gave us good advice about buses and trains and a number of other things.

Hier fühlt man sich wohl!

Die Wohnung ist super, ein sehr gepflegtes Wohnhaus und man wird bestens durch die sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Concierge betreut. Hier hat man den ganzen Tag die Sonne und der Strand liegt einem zu Füssen, eine tolle Lage! Herrlich zum Sonnen und Schwimmen. Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Supermarkt für die Selbstversorgung. Das Auto konnten wir in einer Garage gegen Gebühr parken. Will man in die Altstadt von Nizza nimmt man den Bus direkt an der Straße. Es hat uns hier sehr gefallen und wir kommen gern wieder!
