A lovely accommodation, perfect for a family with plenty of space.Spotlessly clean, very well appointed and a very nice ( and unexpected) welcome pack.We stayed with our grandchildren (10 and 7) and they had a ball. Close to various family activities in D&G.

Lovely cosy cottage, quiet village location friendly owners

Just returned from a 4 night stay at The Dairy - fantastic little place and ideal for a short stay in Scotland. Very cosy and comfortable accommodation - had everything we needed, and the hosts very kindly put 2 extra beds upstairs for our 2 small children. Hot tub was a huge hit with us all! Fantastic, attentive hosts, including the adorable Cruz; we loved him visiting us throughout the day. Great place for bringing our small children and miniature schnauzer! All agreed that we would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful week at Kenmure Kennels walking the trails, gathering around the table and enjoying the cosy fire. The house is well equipped for a group and feels like a loving home, not a characterless rental.

If you're looking for a peaceful break away from it all and to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Dumfrieshire countryside, Lochenkit is wonderful!! Fabulous house, well equipped in beautiful surroundings and exceptionally clean!!

We appreciated the wonderful country setting and the beautiful gardens. The views and walks were spectacular. Duncan and Vickie cheerfully check on us each day. The critter house met all our needs. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barscobe Castle. It was like being in a real-life fairy tale. The property was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed our hikes to the falls and the loch as well as waking up to sheep frolicking in the fields. We live on a Ranch in Texas so although it rained most of our stay and the locals asked if the weather was being kind to us we couldn't have been happier to see rain!! The Castle was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Scotland and hope our travels bring us back one day. If I have one recommendation it would be to have a history book or wall or something about the castle and property. For something to have stood the test of time since 1648 it has to be rich in history, stories and memories. Also, we had the joy of chatting with Vicki several times. She is a sweetheart!
