Riverside View is an absolutely beautiful cottage and home from home with everything you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. The views from every window are outstanding.Cottage was exceptionally clean and very cosy with the huge log burner. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need.The cottage is in quite a remote area, part of the charm, but there is a well stocked village store in nearby Acharacle. We visited out of season so many local attractions were closed however the local scenery and wildlife; Ardtoe beach, Castle Teoram, Loch Sunart, seals, deer and stags, eagles and otters were plentiful.To top our holiday off we saw the Northern Lights from the cottage garden.Will we be back? Of course!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodside. It was a great property in a beautiful place. Great and easy to find house instructions. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Can't recommend enough.

Glenuig is that place you picture when you close your eyes and think about the wild Scottish coastline. The Viking Cottage is a very unique property and a perfect location. It was exactly what we had hoped for. A peaceful, tranquil and undisturbed part of Scotland right on the water in a sleepy little town. Like something out of a novel. Each morning the tide would roll in and out, leaving a mist across the water and clean, crisp air. The accommodations were perfect. An extremely quaint and comfortable cottage with all the amenities. Perched atop a small hill provided great views of the bay and coastline. The Glenuig Inn just next door provided fantastic food and drink as well as great local entertainment. The staff and townspeople welcomed us with open arms, and we instantly felt like family. I highly recommend the Viking Cottage. We are already talking about our return!

We have stayed in many houses over the years and this house beats them all. The ability to walk down to the shore, through the woods to the bay, and up the hills behind is magical. Even when it rained all day, as it did of course, there are so many glass doors and windows it doesn’t seem depressing. We strongly recommend Coopers Knowe

After a 9 hour journey from Hull we arrived at this beautiful location. As per the previous reviewer, a lovely and clean property. Particularly nice is the layout of the property. Having breakfast /diner while having a direct view over the loch and the mountains behind it. Perfect. From this location, we explored (to name a few) the Island of Mull (via Kilchoan-Tobermory and return via Fishnish-Lochaline), castle Tioram and Beinn Resipol. Beautiful area.

Very nice property. Directions could have included some mileage from landmarks. Looking for a road sign at dusk on a long road was more challenging than need be. Transporting all linens from the U.S. was something of a chore.
