  • Fantastic view and everything we needed!

"The house was everything we needed and more. It was better "stocked" with communal amenities than other house rentals our group has experienced (kitchen items, spices, towels and sheets, etc.). Being able to use the propane grills without worrying about buying propane was a huge plus! All rooms were very clean and well maintained. We had no problem taking hot showers with 8 people in the house. Easy access to Ellacoya State Park, Weirs Beach and (on rainy days) The Fun Spot! :) I would definitely recommend this place to a group of 6-8 in the future!"

  • Great place to stay.

"We celebrated a 50th anniversary with our family of 10 here. The beds are comfortable, plenty of room in this 3 level home for everyone. Clean and well supplied. Plenty for all ages to do with numerous inside games & outside water toys. . SO convenient to everything-just minutes to beach, mini-carts & golf, beach and boardwalk, not to mention restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We would rent this home again. K & J. Bradfield"

  • Perfectly situated on a quiet, beautiful island.

"16 Whortleberry is comfy and spacious with just the right amount of accoutrements: Wifi, A/C, washer/dryer if needed, movies, and a local tv station for news (if you even want to know...). The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, including a Whortleberry pie for dessert! Not a fancy kitchen, but who wants to spend time in there with the loons calling right in front of you! The front porch is perfect, but needs some nice Adirondack chairs our some cushioned, comfy furniture for lounging and curling up with your favorite book. We didn't use the boats, kayaks and a canoes available, as we have a pleasure craft and explored the lake with it. If you follow the lake path tucked behind the canoe, there's a footbridge and a perfect little sandy beach with enough room for your beach chair and your feet soaking in the warm July water. Would we go back? We're already talking about next year. A resounding yes from humans and canine alike."
