  • Wonderful spot!

"We felt right at home here. The hosts were friendly, helpful and gracious. The apartment was comfortable, sunny and spacious. We enjoyed the bikes they provided, the fresh veggies from the garden and the resident chickens...as well as the refreshing pool. It was easily accessible to all the Cape May attractions. We recommend it highly"

  • Great Mommy, Me and Luna getaway

"This cottage is so cute, and Irene is even beyond better. She is one of the most gracious hosts we have ever had. My mom, I and Luna have been coming to cape may 3 years in a row, not counting the years without Luna so about 10 years roughly. Higbee beach for dogs is only 5 minutes drive. We love it here Irene has an adorable cottage convientely located in west cape may. It is perfect the spacious screened in porch is where we ate breakfast every day and several dinners. The size of th cottage is perfect very spacious even though it's not huge she has everything placed perfect. Oh and the amenities a bar none, she actually provides everything for the beach, the bikes and oh yes your linens. We love you Irene and thank you."

  • Perfect for my family's needs

"The house is great! We like a big kitchen, as we like to cook. There is plenty of room in the house for our family of four. Not to mention the house was very clean upon arriving. We didn't get to use the backyard as much as we'd have liked due to rain, but it's perfect for hanging out and grilling. Next up: the screened-in front porch, right across the street from Willow Creek Winery. Perfect view, comfortable furniture. I highly recommend this house to anyone with a family or even a couple. West Cape may is quiet, close to farms, the lighthouse, and birding sites. It really was a "home away from home" and I highly recommend it!"

  • Quiet and Peaceful & Wonderful Host

"Just like another reviewer, I was hesitant to write a review about Dragonfly Cottage as it is a perfect, little, hidden gem in Cape May and we want it all to ourselves. First off, Stephanie is a superb host. We had excellent communication even before we set foot into Dragonfly Cottage. The cottage is just the right size for one or two. It is set up beautifully with a queen bed, a small table with two chairs, a comfy chair for sitting and reading, The room has a gas fireplace for heat during any cold nights during those months when you would need it. We did use it once on a second trip and it warmed the room up nicely. There is A/C with a remote which worked very well. A ceiling fan overhead with a light for air circulation. On a corner stand is a TV (32"?) with Xfinity cable. Nice perk to have when you want to watch a show or two from the bed. To the side of the bed in another corner is a small fridge, a microwave, cups and dishes, a toaster, a large Keurig coffee maker and plenty of Keurig coffee and tea along with regular chamomile tea. The bathroom was done quite elegantly with a round sink that sits on top. There is plenty of room to move around. Fresh, clean towels and wash cloths were provided. The windows have shades that move up and down easily. This is a nice perk as we have been in other places that might have curtains but no shades, etc. They block the morning light which helps when you are trying to sleep. We did not spend much time outside in the back, however, if you did there is a gas grill and places to sit. It is a large back yard and we did mosey around the yard a bit. It is a very short drive to the main happenings of Cape May. Depending on what season you plan to come, the parking can be good or difficult to find spots. Stephanie does offer use of bikes, however, we did not take advantage of that. The entire enchanted cottage is clean and well maintained. If there are any concerns or questions, you can always all or text Stephanie. During another stay, I had a question and she called right away with the answer. I should say don't come to Dragonfly Cottage because it is so bad, however, that would be such a lie my nose would grow longer than a telephone wire (as the old poem and song go). If you are coming, please keep it a secret, little gem just between us, yourself and Stephanie. Thank you, Stephanie, for the beautiful cottage and the for being a most friendly host."
