  • Gorgeous property!

"My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway. My idea of the perfect beach trip is to sit by a pool that overlooks the ocean. This place was exactly that. The 6th floor pool deck's views are amazing! The building is absolutely gorgeous and apartment itself is very nice. I was a bit concerned about the bay view, as I was really wanting a full beach view, but you can actually see part of the beach from the right side of the balcony and it was fun watching the cruise ships come in and out of port (I tried to post pictures, but don't think it will let me). I am picky on rentals and I was completely comfortable here. Would come back in a heartbeat!"

  • Awesome condo! Great rental experience!

"This is a clean and comfortable unit in a small, well-maintained complex. The beachfront location has a beautiful view of the gulf from the balcony and living room, and the complex is conveniently located near restaurants and shopsand shops . The appliances are modern and in good working order. The kitchen was well-supplied. The wi-fi connection was strong and fast enough for us to stream shows with no problem. We brought our Amazon Fire stick, and it connected easily to the flat screen digital TV. If you have mobility issues, please note the unit is on the second floor and is only accessible by outdoor stairs. The rental transaction went VERY smoothly. The owner responded quickly and politely to all inquiries. The Sangria staff were friendly and professional. Prices were exactly as quoted with no hidden fees or add-ons. I would definitely stay here again if ever back on SPI!"

  • Cozy comfort

"When I started looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights I found out the hotels were outrageous. The Hemisphere Dreamer came up on VRBO and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. This upstairs apartment is more than adequate for one or two people. The place is spacious and very clean. There is one other apartment upstairs and two located in the basement level. A secluded patio is located down the back stairs where I found a large gas grill and a table with chairs. The kitchen was stocked with a few pots and pans but there are plenty of cups, glasses. A coffee maker is available but be warned, the counter top slopes quite a bit and the coffee runs off of the lid while brewing and it makes a mess. The queen size mattress is very comfortable with crisp clean sheets and the bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels. A laundry room is in the basement with a washer and drier and you'll find an assortment of clean beach towels in there. The street parking is reserved for residents with permits and the owners left me a parking permit in the kitchen. So, the Pleasure Pier traffic was not a bother at all. Every time I pulled up to the house I had a place to park. The Pleasure Pier is right across the parking lot and Seawall Blvd. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance from the house and the beach right there, too. Rosenberg (25th St) is at the end of the block it's a direct route to the Strand, Harborside and the Historic District. I highly recommend the Hemisphere Dreamer and I'll certainly look for availability the next time I need to stay in Galveston."
