Why the Owner Chose LaFollette
Norris Lake is the closest lake to the Northern Kentucky area that allows private docks. We also love how clean Norris Lake is and it also seems to be one of the best skiiing lakes around, with the one possible exception being Dale Hollow.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Our lot is one of the best you'll find on the lake. It's veyr large and is located in a quiet bay behind Sugar Hollow Marina. In most other cabins, you're neighbors are visible to both sides of you of your deck. There is a good mix of natural beauty like the small cave, beautiful trees and wildlife, mixed with modern ammenities like the paver style patio/firepit (which is equipped with lights, hose for putting out the fire at the end of the night, and granite-topped food prep table). There is also a pedal boat for your use that seats 5 people and life jackets for 5 people.
Boat ramp 1/2 mile from the cabin. Marina has small restaurant serving breakfast through dinner.
Blue bridge where people jump off bridge into the lake. Many boaters gather to party here.
Our favorite pizza place - delicious pizza buffet. You need to try the taco pizza.
Owner's Map of LaFollette
We built this log cabin ourselves in 1998. The experience of building a log cabin was amazing & we are proud to have a cabin that we built.

The cabin passed our expectations by a mile. We admire the family’s love that went into making this cabin a reality. We had everything we needed and a whole lot more here. Beautiful, secluded cove, beautiful interior, awesome leather couch (very comfy). We won’t wait so late to reserve this cabin next time. Norris is amazing.

A fun time was had by all - it was great just to walk down & go swimming off the dock. Tony had fun exploring the shoreline in his raft. We put a lot of miles on the jet skis - our long day was 120+ miles!! Such pretty scenery... (almost to far end of the Clinch) And of course, we can't forget tubing and wakeboarding. Tony finished up his waterskiing (modified for wakeboarding) merit badge for Boy Scouts, and Sarah got better at jumping wakes and almost did a 180! We had a few rain showers, but card games and reading Harry Potter poased those times away! Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us - it's a cool place!

We had a great time in your cabin. We caught a 13 pound striper using leeches! Crazy I know! We only lost one camper to the sharks - thank heavens! Great places to visit are the Save-A-Lot parking lot - great cell phone service :), also the Family Dollar is a great people-watching attraction. Springs Dock also has great cheese fries - mmm good. Our weather was beautiful and we experienced many aeronautical adventures on the lake. We love the cabin and the many exciting "hidden gems" of the lake. Thanks for everything!

Dear Cooks, My wife, daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandkids had a wonderful time at your TN retreat home. Weather was fantastic, fishing could have been better, fire pit provided great night time entertainment. I'm sure you're very proud of your labor of love in the cabin. The hard work and efforts paid off. It's so beautiful. We've always known TN is God's country: spending a week here proves it! My kids reallt enjoyed the company of the visiting dog companion. We had a Momma dog and her Beagle baby pup visit us one day and my 5 year old fell head over heels for this duo. Though he complained that the little beagle pup loved to "hug" his leg a little too much. Needless to say, they provided entertainment for us all. The kids loved sleeping in the closet upstairs. What a cute idea! Aidan fell asleep with his lightning bugs every night. Also, love the camp fire song book. I'm not sure your neighbors would say the same. LOL P.S. A must see if you need something to do, especially for the little ones, is the Knoxville Zoo: only about 45 minutes away. It puts our Cincy Zoo to shame!

We came for a family get-a-way. We fished, boated, swam, and had fun. The cabin and the lake was beautiful. We didn't see the Norris Lake Monster, but I had my camera ready for it. Maybe next time. Thanks you for the cabin - we had a lovely time.
