Heritage House is a two story colonial home located in the exclusive, quiet residential area of Rum Point, in Cayman Kai. New construction in 2006, it features tasteful, family-friendly furnishings, and each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms overlook the Caribbean, and two overlook the pool and Little Sound. There are two king-size beds, two queen-size, and a den with a sleeper sofa.

There are breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean from your covered first-floor lanai and second-floor balcony, where you can enjoy a cocktail and the trade winds. Snorkel right from your private beach, or swim in your private pool. Walking distance to the Rum Point beach, bar, restaurant and water sports area.

  • THIS HOUSE AND LOCATION IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! PERFECT! THIS WAS AN AMAZING VACATION AND WE HOPE ONE DAY TO GO BACK! THE VIEWS ARE SO RELAXING...LISTENING TO THE OCEAN IS SO CALMING AND THE SUNRISE/SUNSET ARE A MUST SEE! WE DID ALOT OF SNORKELING RIGHT BEHIND THE HOUSE. ONCE YOU GET PAST THE ROCKS, (IT'S JUST A LITTLE BIT IN THE START) THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT FISH TO SEE! WE FOUND IT EASIER TO WALK UP THE BEACH (OPPOSITE WAY OF RUM POINT) THEN GET IN THE WATER AND SNORKEL OUT...THE CURRENT WILL PUSH YOU DOWN TOWARDS THE HOUSE. VERY PRISTINE WATERS. ALSO, RUM POINT HAD GREAT SNORKELING...WOULD BE GOOD FOR BEGINNERS TO PRACTICE!(GOOD FOOD & DRINKS THERE TOO!) ONE OF OUR FAVORITE DINNER PLACES WAS THE "LIGHTHOUSE RESTAURANT" NOT TOO FAR FROM HOUSE. WE ATE THERE TWICE, MMMM! ALSO, IF YOU VENTURE TO GEORGETOWN, "CASANOVA'S" (ITALIAN) IS VERY GOOD...JUST UP FROM "MARGARITAVILLE" (WHICH IS ALSO GOOD) ON THE OCEANSIDE. "HELL" WASN'T ANYTHING SPECTACULER...WE JUST MOSTLY WENT TO GET T- SHIRTS AND MAIL POSTCARDS FROM IT SO THEY WOULD BE POSTMARKED FROM "HELL". IT KINDA WAS "HELL" TRYING TO FIND IT TOO!! WE WENT ON THE "SUNSET CATAMARAN CRUISE", WHICH WAS NICE...THEY TAKE YOU OUT TO SEA, HAVE CASH BAR, WING DINGS, CELERY/CARROT STIX AND DIP. NICE NIGHT OUT. ALSO, STINGRAY CITY IS A FOR SURE MUST! WE HAD A BLAST...LITTLE SCARY AT FIRST BUT STINGRAYS REALLY "TAME". YOU EVEN GET TO HOLD THEM. THEY'RE SOOO SOFT! FEMALES ARE FRIENDLIEST...OF COURSE! ALSO, THEY ARE LARGER THAN THE MALES! SOME WERE LIKE 5FT. WIDE!! THEY'RE ALSO SLIPPERY! NATURALLY. YOU CAN BOOK THESE 2 TOURS AND OTHERS RIGHT FROM RUM POINT WHERE THEY LEAVE FROM! WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE AND DECIDED 1 WEEK WAS NOT ENOUGH! ANYONE WHO JUST WANTS TO "CHILL OUT" AND FORGET THEIR "WORRIES", THIS IS THE PLACE. NO DOUBT! YOU NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE, UNLESS YOU DON'T LIKE COOKING! (WE DON'T...SO WE VENTURED OUT FOR OUR DINNERS) BUT BREAKFAST WE ALWAYS ATE AT THE HOUSE. LUNCH AND SNACKS WE BOUGHT AND EITHER TOOK TO RUM POINT (EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO) OR ATE THERE. WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE "HERITAGE HOUSE"!!!   • This was one of the best vacations that we have ever been on! When we arrived, the house was extremely clean and everything was perfect. The view from the house is amazing and we practically lived in the pool and the ocean. Being within walking distance to Rum Point was especially great since we had my nephew with us and you don't have to worry about stepping on any coral there. It was also nice to be within walking distance of great mud slides.:) One of our favorite places to eat turned out to be Oceans Edge which isn't too far away from the Heritage House. The seafood is really good and their prices are very reasonable - entrees are between $13 - $25 vs. $32 at other restaurants. We also enjoyed the Kaibo Yacht Club for their beach side full moon event. It was very romantic and surreal to be surrounded by candles, cabanas, and white lights under the full moon by the ocean. If you can plan on being there during a full moon I would highly suggest it - Cayman Kayaks even does a late night kayak run during this time. Jim's directions and suggestions helped so much and I would definitely recommend printing off the directions before you leave for your trip so you don't get lost. The round abouts are very confusing as they do not have roads and directions well marked. Rum Point is one of the nicest places on the island if you like to relax. We drove over to Seven Mile Beach one day and that was more than enough for us. The turtle farm is fun as well as sting ray city. If you have any scuba divers in the group, check out Ocean Frontiers. My husband had such an awesome time with them and they only allowed a max of 12 people guests on the 3 tank dive trip vs. some other outfitters that try to stuff people on their boats. We had such a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a relaxing trip.

  • This home is beautiful. There is so much room that no one is untop of each other. A private bathroom for each bedroom. The view is spectacular, right on the ocean, and the sunrise and sunsets are a must see. There were eight of us that stayed here and we had so much room. A spacious kitchen if you want to cook with all the utensils. We loved our stay and would recommend it highly. Easy to overdose in tranquility. Gary and Nancy Fabry

  • This is the perfect vacation house. It is roomy and comfortable. It easily accomodates 8 to 10 people, but still has enough space for someone to be alone if they would like some quite time. It is located on a large lot with a stunning view of the Caribbean. It is located on the north side of the island and gets very little traffic and has a beautiful uncrowded beach to enjoy.

  • The Heritage House is an amazing place to stay. It is located on the quiet part of the island and is truly a relaxing experience. We enjoyed the very short walk to Rum Point and short ride to Kaibo Restauraunt. The house itself is new and had all of the amentities we needed when preparing our meals. It was an outstanding place to stay and we look forward to returning in the future.
